I think only you and Monte Morris actually think ISU is better than Iowa after that ass kicking. ISU is just lucky they have played a cupcake schedule. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see ISU go 9-9 in the Big12 and miss the tournament.
You forgot about Ken Pomeroy
Ken Pomeroy doesn't rank teams based on how good he thinks they are each week. He ranks them based on what they have done over the course of the season.

I just like to bait 56 into showing his true colors, it is funny. If you remember when I threw some bait out about how horrible ISU's recruiting class was......guess who I reeled in that day???? Now I just throw out an obviously true statement about how Iowa >>>> ISU after kicking their ass up and down the court, and he comes a running in acting all outraged quoting KenPom.....LOL

Well that is your mistake. Maybe if you watched ISU play you would see what many of their fans (sans you obviously) see. It is an overrated team that just isn't playing well right now.
Maybe if they go on a run, and Iowa struggles again I will change my opinion, and say ISU is better. Right now if Iowa played ISU again yesterday at the Well, it would have been a bigger ass kicking than the one in Carver. That just isn't a good ISU team right now.
Better email Ken and let him know

Why do I care what KenPom metrics says a team is 11 games into the season? They aren't used in the selection process. RPI is the only metric that really matters to the committee. KenPom is a nice little talking point, but means nothing. Do you actually think that Rhode Island >>> MSU? I mean you must, KenPom says so.
Do you really think KenPom has his rankings based on which teams he thinks are better right now?

That's just it, KenPom is just a snapshot, and a very, very, very incomplete one at that. I'd bet Ken himself doesn't take his 11 games in rankings as bible like 56 does.
They're both pretty mediocre so far this season but Michigan State has really struggled
