pg Gesell 6'2/Clemmons 6'1
sg Marble 6'6/Oglesby 6'5
sf May 6'5/White 6'8
pf Basabe 6'7/ McCabe 6'7
c Woodbury 7'1/Olaseni 6'11
reserves Ingram 6'3/Meyer 6'10
walkons Stubbs 6'2/ Marble 5'11/Stokes 6'8

height will not be a issue nor should depth as be a issue as we will have plenty of options for lineups, the starting lineup will be a battle for starting spots
that is the biggest reason why this team is struggling at the moment their is no real competition between the players for a spot

Cartwright: no backup to push for a starting job
Gatens: other than Marble and Oglesby both are young and have a lot to learn
May:again Marble but is busy working as a backup to Cartwright, White maybe next yearwill take it away from him
Basabe: McCabe will not beat out Basabe
center spot: is a major Question mark; hopefully Brommer can give major minutes and a inside presense, Archie gives good effort but it is not enough, Olaseni minute may increase as the season progresses

overall you need competition in practice to motivate kids, otherwise they get lazy and don't have to worry about losing their starting spots, this will make the biggest difference next season

The main reason this team is struggling is there is only one player playing like he is capable...if a player isn't performing and deserves to be on the bench even with a far less talented player that plays hard, bench him anyway. It is still early in this season, things can change, today was start with the lineup shift and Archie not playing. Look for more changes if things continue.

Makes sense, play the productive players.....

Archie did not play due to a wrist injury attempting to dunk the ball, he jammed the wrist on the rim, him not starting or playing was because of the injury only,
so don't make it out like he didn't start because of producing

Was unaware of the injury, but my feeling of him and his abilities doesn't change, move on.

my point on Archie, he is giving all he has, if Basabe would put forth half as much effort i don't think we lose to Cambell and the game against Creighton would have been closer
Archies best is just not up to BT standards but at least he is trying which is more than i can say about some of the others

We agree on something, but Archie has not been reliable due to injuries and now another one...

May's days as a starter / major minute guy end next year, if not this year. I appreciate the effort he gives, but he is not a high D1 basketball player. Outside of dunking on run outs, there isn't much to his offensive game and he is too much of a tweaner on D.

Marble will play the 3 next season, not the 2.

I agree. Marble isn't a good enough three point shooter to start at the three. We need an outside threat beyond Gesell and therefore Oglesby will get the start at the two.

pg Gesell 6'2/Clemmons 6'1
sg Oglesby 6'5/Marble 6'6/Ingram 6'3/
sf Marble 6'6/May 6'5/White 6'8
pf Basabe 6'7/ McCabe 6'7/White 6'8
c Woodbury 7'1/Olaseni 6'11/Meyer 6'10//White 6'8

May, White and McCabe first off the bench. Meyer could be the primary backup for Woodbury as we don't know much about either Kyle or Gabe yet.

Marble can shoot the three, can finish at the rim and has a nice stop and pop jump shot, something that Oglesby hasn't shown, White will end up at the three, no need to discount Marble after just a few games into this season as not being able to shoot the three he is improving,
he has taken 8 shots from 3 and made 2, now that he is concentrating on playing away from the pt he is scoring more, been in dbl digits the last 2 games, where he didn't come close in the previous 4 even the blowouts, so wait til this year finishes before making theclaim he can't or won't do anything

Like Marble but he is a classic tweener not a pure shooter and can only get half way to the rim. His length and hustle will always help down the road, but he never be a big time scorer.

i'll try to save this for the all knowing experts that say kids "can't"

pg Gesell
sg Marble
sf White
pf Basabe
c Woodbury

yea just like May can't shoot, he just led the Team last yera in 3pt accuracy at 39.4 % with Gatens 2nd at 33%, like i said its good to know their so many know it all expert talent evaluators on here

So may is the best shooter? He don't start next year ?

it makes just as much sense as the crap you spout, but Marble will be a two

Gesell/ Clemmons
Marble/ Oglesby
May/ White
Basabe/McCabe
Woodbury/ Olaseni

will be the 2 deeps with the ability to mix and match anr rotate as needed,
per a Fran quote; Marble will play the 2 and White will be a 3
as i said too many experts that know how to run Fran's team for him
