BGHP, GoIowaAwesome or Landof10 did a breakdown of our previous classes and our inability to get/keep WRs. It was a combination of Iowa being unable to get good recruits, GD's offense not meshing with KF's plans, and then just plain bad luck with injuries/transfers.

The last two? We haven't been competitive in a bowl game since 2010 against Missouri. The LSU loss in 2014 was our closest bowl game in terms of score, but we were thoroughly outclassed in that game as well.
