I must admit man, I was so sick seeing Colton listed as the starting punter after be horrendous last year. But this year, he’s had one bad punt that I can remember, other then that, he’s been pretty damn good. And for that, I’ll eat half a crow. He’s got more to prove before I eat the whole thing.

This is the one game I always have a ton of anxiety and am nervous for. I can fathom losses (usually) but I absolutely HATE losing to ISU. HATE it. If drives me fricking crazy.

You can’t disagree with this! The only problem is, we all know Kirk won’t put heat on Stanley if he repeats a bad game.

I would agree regarding Stanley, my buddy and I were just were talking about it. He looks fairly inconsistent and off agains NIU. It’s worriseome, but it it keeps up for a few weeks it’ll be time to strongly consider Mansel. Mansel just reminds me so much of Drew Tate.

Not to nitpick much, because we won. However, the Iowa WRs seem to usually be an issue as of late. ISM had a few catches, Smith didn’t do much, and Easely Either. I know this offense was dink and dunk as the norm, however, when we try to open up the Offense, it seems like nobody can get open...

I think we already knew that we ran 3 running plays, tops.. and we can as fans recognize them right away. As someone else said, I’m starting to lose wind in the sails as Brian as OC. This year better be a huge jump, or I’m completely done with him. Not like it matters, he will be coaching here...

James Vandenberg had a rocket IIRC. Regarding Nate Stanley, I just don’t feel confident with him one bit. All the strength in the world but inconsistent accuracy. With that being said, Iowa has some duds at WR AGAIN. I don’t understand how we can’t accidentally recruit a dominate WR for once.

Not a chance. The only thing Ferentz has going for him is that solid Defense that Phil Parker usually puts together. The Offense will never ever propel us to a Championship under Ferentz.

It’s just the fact that we aren’t even close to sniffing these games. The one time we have a good year, we get throttled by a PAC 12 team.

ARE Y'ALL KIDDING ME??? Anyone who is against Wadley on this is crazy. He barely did a high step. A MINOR high step and it was a bogus flag. Most college players do way worse in the end zone with no flags. This was simply a HORRIBLE call and Wadley shouldn't have been flagged.

I'll agree on Brad Banks.. and Tate is probably my favorite Iowa QB of All-Time.. but he certainly didn't progress as much as you would have liked to see especially after that Capital One Bowl season. And some would say, including me that he regressed. Seems like Iowa QBs have a good year and...

Only thing I worry about is the fact that Quarterbacks regressed under him, and under Davis.. having a QB specific coach won't change that. Just think they're not great at progressing QBs.

Agreed. It's frustrating how Iowa will go through spurts, however of missing so many damn Free Throws. And they always haunt us. If I remember correctly, Free Throws hurt Iowa when we played @ Nebraska?
