Just read this in the DM Register yesterday. New staff at Roosevelt includes some players from Iowa and Iowa State. They think they can get the team into the playoffs someday. City of Des Moines schools haven't done much in football in a long time.

I thought the big super recruit from the Hayden Fry era, I think he was a lineman from Atlantic. He didn't pan out on the field, would be considered a "bust" today, but he developed as a person and worked hard and matured off the field and talks about his career for "Where are they now?" stories...

Kinda beside the point, but I don't think he was the highest rated recruit for Ferentz ever. I know the thread title is sarcastic when it refers to him as that. But we have had higher rated recruits, this guy just had the craziest nickname.

I was on twitter and I tweeted at him "Hey Oliver if you get too hot then jump in a pool to cool off". I am always giving people advice on social media.

He was in the background of some scenes on Last Chance U, I think he grabs the coach when the team is at the lake and they try to throw Coach JB into the water. But mostly he is just in the background in scenes. You can tell its him because he is so big. He is lucky to get in and out of that...
