Tavian Banks joins staff at Des Moines Roosevelt

Just read this in the DM Register yesterday. New staff at Roosevelt includes some players from Iowa and Iowa State. They think they can get the team into the playoffs someday. City of Des Moines schools haven't done much in football in a long time.

They will never compete with Dowling, Valley, Urbandale and Ankeny. I have heard that Dowling recruits players from other school districts.

I saw that Miami (OH) has a Travion Banks on their roster, but I couldn't find that he's any relation to Tavian.
