I think Jok will be the scoring drought stopper, in particular, just like he was last night. When the team was being pressed score-wise and couldn't score, Peter came to the rescue and helped get the team back on track and the lead back to double digits.

Basketball season can't get here fast enough. Imo, it looks like another 4-8 season at best, and we all know Ferentz will not let Davis run his offense. So it will be another disaster on offense, especially with no experienced QB on the squad.

Saw the Hawk play a game in the fieldhouse before the game against Mich St where Iowa lost 4 starters to scholastic ineligibility......what a fabulous player, a real high flyer. Nelson was the only starter available for the 2nd semester.

Payne, imo, will be a very good NBA player. He has all the tools. I think he'll be a much better player than Zeller in the league. Zeller's stock has dropped a lot in the past year, imo.

Fred has done a great job, imo. The NBA is the only place he'll move to, sooner or later, imo. And he will do well in the league.

Meyer is also a good 3 pt shooter and a lot bigger than McCabe. Fran is going to have even more options next year and the foreign trip is really going to help this team gel early, imo. The better Woody and Gabe get, the better Iowa is going to be.

Sapp's game has really gone south for some reason. I hope he gets it back tomorrow night as the Hawks really need him to effectively spell Dev so that Dev gets some rest during the game.

This screw up will reduce attendance for the game, imo. Whoever is running the ticket office needs to be fired. Why isn't the office kept open longer given the short time fans can get tickets.

Imo, his NBA prospectus has already taken a hit by staying at Indy this season, imo. This season has shown when playing against big, physical centers/forwards, he is not the dominate player that he appeared to be during the 2011-12 season. Things will not get better, if he comes back, next year...

Iowa is going to be a juggernaut next season. They very well may win all their home games, imo. The Hawks are going to be really good and a very talented deep squad. If they continue to play defense like they have this year, they will be a high seed in the NCAA's.

Kansas is way over rated anyway. Even TCU beat them badly.

How about games in the NCAA or NIT. Those points also count, don't they?

The 2 together very well could average a double-double. Woody more pts and Gabe more rebounds.

They should charge a student activity fee in the tuition cost which would cover attending any and/or all Iowa on campus sporting events. Them make it fist come, first served as far as seating at any on campus sporting event. It would spread the cost over the entire student body and essentially...
