Loves Indiana and going to school. I hope that is not true. Oh well, bring him on next year if that is the case.
He should talk to Sullinger about coming back. Worked for him.
I agree. At this point the NBA scouts have a pretty good idea what they will be getting with Zeller. He will be a 4 in the NBA. Zeller is all about effort. He is at his best when his team is getting up and down the court. Where he will need the most work is on his half court offensive post moves and shoring up that 15-18 foot jumper. Those are both skills that can be learned/taught. What you can't learn is being a 7 footer with great feet and athleticism. He already has that. It won't bother me if he comes back next year because it will only bolster an already seemingly tough conference. I want the B1G to be considered the top conference each year because that can only help force Fran to keep improving the Hawks roster which makes it even more fun to watch. It would not surprise me if he is back whatsoever.
What is wrong with a guy staying, worked out terrible for Tim Duncan.
Indiana still will have plenty of talent regardless if Zeller stays or goes. It will be interesting to see how his game transfers to the pros. He needs to put on some weight to get ready for NBA PFs and he's not nearly athletic enough to handle NBA SFs.
I believe he stood with the Seniors on Senior day.
Yeah, I remember seeing the picture quick during the game, of the four guys out there (Hull, Watford, Oladipo, and Zeller), and thought that must mean they are leaving.Actually, they had Oladipo and Zeller out on the floor on Senior Day to honor the 1000 point scorers, but some felt it was a way to get them out there because they are gone.
