Team meeting on a Saturday in mid-December? Sounds spot on. I'll believe it when I see it. Also, Campbell is a great WR coach and has developed record breaking contributors at that positions since joining staff.
I honestly agree. He seems used to working with creme of the crop talent at TX and when he arrived to IC was surprised with our speed, talent. I'm not sure his system works as well for the hawks, where frankly our receivers are inferior to TX. I have to wonder whether Kirk will go elsewhere...
Good to see Davis and Coop up there competing for a starting slot. Also, agreed that this is probably the best year we've had for fake punts and field goals.
Agree. They didn't look like they were putting in a lot of effort for a reason. Also, whenever Brazil got close they put on the gas and pulled away by 10+ pts. I'm not worried. Coach K didn't look worried, either.
I can't wait until they start rotating some of the younger guys in to spell...
If Iowa makes a run and goes undefeated, there's no way they don't make it into the playoffs. The playoff system does not change a thing. If anything, the playoffs cast a wider (albeit only slightly wider) net for BIG teams/iowa to make it into the Nat'l Championship. Even if Iowa loses one...
Does anyone know how Jake Rudock is progressing? Haven't read much on him recently. I know his size was a concern during recruitment. When he committed to Iowa he was under 200 lb. What is he at now? Does he have a legit shot at playing (well) next year as a backup?
So which would you prefer? I, for one, am tired of letdown losses to NW and ISU. The peaks and valleys and inconsistency of the program is what drives fans nuts.
