It all comes down to Nebby and Wisky for us if we beat Illinois. A Nebby win means we play an extra game in the tourney. Never thought I would cheer for the Badgers....

Let's put things in perspective...Nebraska sure seemed to improve over the season. They were really bad early. Iowa has seemed to go the wrong direction after a very good early season. I don't know what this means for the future but I am concerned.

Chemistry will be had when the team comes on the floor, holding hands and doing the hokey-pokey....that's what it's all about.

A 3 overtime, 2 point game. And the winner is..... Actually, should be an easy win. I think the coaches should let the team figure out the rotation and handle all the timeouts. Fran would be free to focus his attention entirely on the refs.

The success of the Hawks from here on out will come down to the players stepping up to the task. I think it is out of Fran's hands at this time. There is nothing he can say or do to help much.

Agreed. When 7 or 8 of the players you are playing are average talent, you need to make sure the best 3 players stay in the game 35 minutes or more.

Fran, if you really feel that way, stay in the locker room and let the assistants take over.

Easy there...we win 2 of the next 3 (Purdue and Illinois) we are in. If we win just one (MSU) we are in. Lose all three and the first game in the tourney...NIT.

My wife and I had the honor to sit 10 rows back behind the Northwestern bench @ a Homecoming football game (my memory is not perfect but it was probably 6 or 7 years ago). Some of our Hawk "fans" were totally disrespectful to the visiting team during most of this game using every sort of taunt...
