The tech geek in me is pumped...check this out

Yep, tweak the background with some lights and get a decent audio setup and it looks like a TV broadcast. Very professional looking regardless, it shows the true Hawk fan in you. Jon

    BCS National Championship

I agree I hate Chizick as well. I am an ISU student but bleed the Black and Gold like my Dad and his Dad before him. Just a sh**y, dis-ingenious person in my opinion leaving Ames the way he did. Unfortuanetly I see Auborn winning this game. God knows I have rooted against them the whole...

The press conference did NOT address the issue of other players testing postive.

I understand you think a game for a first time offense is fair, but it really isn't. If you do that, then the offense comes into the public sphere. Now media and the like will question how everything is being handled. Keeping it closed without the suspension allows the staff to handle the...

The press conference did NOT address the issue of other players testing postive.

Playing college football is not driving a semi, train, being an armed police officer etc. I also doubt if someone is caught for first offense it isn't talk to a counselor for an hour and then business as usual. I am sure it is multiple meetings with drug counselors, multiple meetings with...

So let me get this straight......

I don't think any standards have changed for awhile. I believe the Code of Conduct that is referred to in the press conference has been in place for a long time. I don't think anyone is drinking kool-aid by agreeing with the standards that are in place, have been in place for a long time, and...

The press conference did NOT address the issue of other players testing postive.

Not necessarily. Some employers will offer rehabilitation and counseling to someone who is willing to change as opposed to firing the individual. Like Barta and Ferentz, you can't lump every situation together. If they caught someone smoking pot, for example, I would much rather they...

    Keenan Davis

Exactly right. Chaney can't catch the ball, he is an end around specialist. The Minnesota game is an example, and I believe there is another game in the past where for some reason they threw at him over and over, and he dropped it over and over.

At some point, the lack of leadership and execution has to come down on KF

I like the enthusiasm and I myself like what we bring back next year and beyond but clearly we are not at the level nor approaching the level you are talking about. Even last year in our magic year, we played down to the level of competition. Wisconsin, tOSU, and soon to be Nebraska, in most...

    Nothing will change. Anyone disagree?

I agree with everything said above. No reason to completely change directions, look how well that worked at Michigan... But I believe some of the losses can be attributed to coaching, and I guess the good thing is it should all be correctable. Clock management, 2-minute offensive play calling...

    Micah Hyde

The nice thing is Hyde will now get to learn from all of these mistakes he made and we still got the win. The INT sort of balances the blown coverage in my book. Like Kirk's teams, players will get better as the season continues.
