Welcome to the party. Stand up young man. Here is your chance. Forget the wasted redshirt year. It is your time to shine. This could be the break of a lifetime. Good luck!
Go Hawks!!!

I actually look to the guy that routinely gets overlooked: Chaney, plus Nordman may get a few snaps.

I freaking hope he wasn't too close with DJK. Dominique Douglas was tough to go through and now what could have been one of Iowa's most respected receiver has this come up.

I'm now not so disappointed for DJK sitting the 1st qt. vs. minn.

Keep it clean. Be a role model. And get working on breaking DJK's records.

How many times was Chaney thrown to against Minnesota? And he had zero catches if i remember right? There is a reason this kid does not start at WR.

Exactly right. Chaney can't catch the ball, he is an end around specialist. The Minnesota game is an example, and I believe there is another game in the past where for some reason they threw at him over and over, and he dropped it over and over.

Amen to that! The last thing I want to see is DJK's name in any Iowa record book. I hope he is able to turn himself around. Don't get me wrong, I wish the kid the best of luck with rehabbing his life, but this has to be the BIGGEST disoppointment as a Hawkeye fan. What a way to put the cherry and whipped cream on top of a horse$hit year. KD, time to step up young man! I have ben looking forward to see what you can do!

Is "welcome to the party" really the best intro lol? Lets keep KD away from any and all parties!!

I am sure Sandeman will ge the start, which I will write down as a typical O Keefe maneuver. Davis will see some time late when Ferentz realizes that Sandeman has less than 4 receptions and 20 yards. The Mizzou corners are going to be too good for Sandeman. I think they would have given DJK trouble.

Keenan Davis is far superior in the talent department to Sandeman, and I can't help but think that he regrets staying home to play for the local U.

we all know the guy is a burner, if he had even average hands he would be a huge weapon. I would like to see him in the wildcat or something, would be interesting to see what he could do. But then again, I am not the coach, and there is probably a reason for that.:)

I will concur with the previous posters that Chaney has a hands problem. It's too bad, he came in with all kinds of hype. I am very excited for our wr corps next year. McNutt, Davis, and Fedor. I am a big Davis fan, and from everything I have read he is a very hard worker and is hungry. He and JVB get to start on something special next year.

Why would Davis regret coming to Iowa? He is going to get all kinds of looks the next two years. And look at the numbers DJK and McNutt have put up. I doubt he regrets it.

He was a high 4 star Rivals All American who came to Iowa under the impression of being able to start immediately. Instead he sees reps go to a guy like Sandeman who has never impressed me on the field. He is rarely targeted, and wasn't even able to redshirt because O Keefe is a firm believer in burning redshirts during garbage preseason games. So he has two more years starting next to do something, or he will end up like a lot of other great Iowa prosepcts. Near no-shows.

How do you know he thought he would get immediate playing time?
