You would think that the Big Ten could get this right.....

You read my mind. Iowa took a lot of crap when that issue was raised, but it seems like they were justified.

Yepper. I've had to correct a few ebay sellers here and there as well. Southern Miss needs to do something more original.

Washburn was pressured to get rid of their W because it was too similar to Wisky's. The school colors are much different, yet Wisky was able to get their way. UI needs to stick to their guns and get So. Miss to make a change.

We have over 3,600 items with the "old" tigerhawk on them. You can see why the "new" tigerhawk would be a disaster for use. I have never made that mistake. That is aBsolutely the funniest thing I have ever seen. I LOVE IT!!!!

There's a junior high down here that uses the Tiger Hawk logo, the REAL logo, not the Southern Miss knock off.

Add Waukee to that list. Didn't Wisconsin raise a stink about Waukee's logo as well. Although a white on purple w and a red on white w look totally different and would never be confused like this one.

So I guess the Hawk and the Eagle look almost exactly the same in the logo world, wierd. But that's a bad deal for both schools. I hope nobody buys from that site, if they do, they aren't a true fan.

It never ceases to amaze me, how so many people end up with jobs they know nothing about. How does something like this happen? Looks like somebody at the BTN got their 9th grade daughter a nice summer job.

Actually, this is likely exactly what happened, more or less. Someone slaving away in some windowless cubicle hell at under $8/hr tediously performing the mind-numbing task of resizing, redrawing, & digitally cleaning up hundreds of logos in PhotoShop/Illustrator/etc, and somewhere along the production chain, someone assigned Logo #3128 instead of Logo #1832 (or something like that scenario, anyway). It can happen way, way easier than you might think.
And (and I know this sounds positively crazy), not everyone knows about or gives a sh*t about University of Iowa Hawkeyes sports, and wouldn't even be able to catch the mistake to begin with.
Further, it's likely this type of work is outsourced to India, where (again, this will sound crazy) people might not actually know about University of Iowa Hawkeyes sports.

I called 1-866-919-6215 told them about item code 437377 asked for the management. their main site is football fanatic, I went on about you are representing the big ten and you should know what their logos are and that I was going to contact the big ten
