Would you be happy with making a bowl?

Team building pottery classes are great for any group, there is a place in Valley Junction that did one of these for my office. Making ceramic vessels and decorating them for display really brings a group together.

It's kind of funny, but in my day, it was called smoking a bowl, torching a bowl, or hitting mary jane.

Would take six wins and a bowl right now without playing the season if that was an option. Could be very happy with six wins as long as the loses Iowa looks competitive and plays good football.

Because 70 teams in America, including lots of crappy ones, "make a bowl" every single year. That is not a significant accomplishment nowadays, particularly with a program featuring the fan support and resources available at Iowa. That is actually a pretty significant underachievement, and it's beyond pathetic that so many people fail to understand that.

I am with you on this one. It's so obvious what's happening.

That Iowa isn't very good right now? Um yeah, everyone knows this. The point is you got the haters that will accept nothing less than hate. Even if Iowa has a better than expected year with 7 or 8 wins, the haters will hate and say that ain't good enough.

Iowa has been up and Iowa has been down the things I complain about happen in all of these years. It comes down to beating the teams that you are better than. It comes down to giving Iowa a chance. For me the magic number changes every year. It should always no matter what be over 6. I dont ever say Im gonna be mad if they dont get to 9 wins or whatever. Its about how you handle what comes at you. Iowa is not handling things well as of the last 3 years.

The biggest kirk fans I see on here are the biggest clown haters. This is a clown thread brah. Or thats a clown question brah. Most people have already decided that its okay to lose to the clowns this year. To me thats sad.

Nope, go back and read his post. It's self evident what I meant after reading that.

It just takes people who aren't complete azzhats. I mean the program is where it is. If you will only be happy with 9 wins, you might as well stay at home, and not watch a second of Iowa football this year, and become an Ohio St. fan.
You truly are as big of an idiot as I think you are if you think OSU fans are happy with 9 wins.

Karl, you keep harping on about "resources" at Iowa. What Bolshevik comrade crawled into your pillowcase?

We have newer facilities, yes, but we are one of the smallest schools in the B1G. Metropolitan Chicago is almost twice as large as the State of Iowa. There are more OSU and PSU alums in this country than you can fit in the Grand Canyon (darn near, anyway), and our stadium capacity pales in comparison to PSU, OSU and Michigan.

"Fan" support? With "fans" like you, who needs...

Bob, you're better than that. Look, I know this guys seems to be a communist, but he does have a few good points here.

Freed, to think Iowa has "extensive" resources compared to the other 120 or so FBS schools is ludicrous. We are middle of the pack in that regard., maybe "slightly" upper tier. We are nowhere close to the top. Not even.

And he doesn't "seem" to be a Communist.

Look at his posts. He's rude, condescending AND not that smart. It ain't a good combo.

I'm not even sure what this means. What does one (clown hater) have to do with the other (KF fan)???? I root for ISU when they aren't playing Iowa. I also troll stupid ISU trolls on this site, doesn't mean I hate ISU. I just don't understand their fan base. I'm also not a KF lover. Rather I see the good things he has done with the program, and realize that he has many very good head coaching qualities. Doesn't mean I think he doesn't have flaws (all coaches do).
