If Woody wants to play like a 4 and take the jump shots, try to juke out the defender on shots, and be AWOL on rebounds, make him a 4. Start Oleseni at the post and start Woody at the 4. Iowa needs a true 4.

Then Fran can mix and match with other players later in the game. Woody is, IMO, too athletic to sit for the long stretches on the bench that Fran sits him.

Ha. Woody, the largest 4 in college basketball. Get real and just say 2 5's on the floor. Twin towers.

His demanding the ball on a post up after the transition dunk and going to the rack and getting fouled....those things are big in his growth. He's going to be a very good player

We have been on the same page with Woodbury since he committed and he is going to be a special player, not just good. He seems to have tried to assert himself more this season.
 
Yeah, two-handed colossal dunk; a mean one-hander....

But he can't come from one side of the rim, between his legs, pirouette jam .... so it's not like he's all that. Duh!

Posts like this, with all due respect, are just silly and counterproductive. Yes, many great athletes exhibit the above attributes. But many - so, so many - don't. A list long enough that it's not even worth compiling. Don't try to negate Woodbury's, or anybody's, potential because they don't fit into your favorite archetype.

Before today, many of is thought woody had a vertical that would allow a sheet of paper to slide between his shoe and the floor. After today we all know that distance is up to at least a phone book. And not just a small town Iowa phone book, I mean like Cedar Rapids size phone book. Next year is projecting to Webster's dictionary ups.
