woodbury

And, part of (arguably) the worst trade ever in the NBA. :)

June 9, 1980: Traded by the Boston Celtics (as a future 1980 1st round draft pick) with a 1980 1st round draft pick (Rickey Brown was later selected) to the Golden State Warriors for Robert Parish and a 1980 1st round draft pick (Kevin McHale was later selected).

Not his fault!

Aren't these synonymous?

Screw you Wunder and your perfect English...hahahahahahaha.

I don't know, but if you are asking, I would say...yes?

For some saying he "doesn't work hard all the time" it implies he does from time to time. When you categorize someone as lazy, well I think it speaks for itself, there are no excuses that can be put into it.

When he does have a good game, it is amazing how much love the announcers have for him and say we "hope he has figured it out." I really don't know what the hell that means. What is there to "figure out" he is on scholarship to play basketball well all the time, what else is there really? It would be interesting to see Painter bench him for a game or two and see if he walks away or not. Purdue has two highly regarded C's coming in next year, so it isn't like they would be losing a big chunk of their team. Maybe enigma is the best word, but hey you tell me, English was not my strongsuit and I am not being funny either.

Perhaps not so much finesse in terms of a dislike for mixing it up (i.e. soft), but rather finesse in that he cannot rely upon explosive power and athleticism to get baskets like Shaq, Amare Stoudemire (pre-injury), or Dwight Howard. Rather, he has to rely upon a combination of skills and deception. There are some pretty tough dudes who have had a lot of success who some would say have a "finesse" post game (Dirk Nowitzki, Tim Duncan, Kevin McHale, Rik Smitz, etc.).
If Woody is to be comparable to these guys, he needs to develop a consistent jump shot AND he needs to develop the ability to successfully mix it up down low.

Otherwise he's going to become - is a center like the center from Baylor.
