Wisconsin could be 2-3 in first 5 games

I never said it was, troll.

Good, then you agree it's a road game.

You are the one who used "its (5-0) never been done in the KFz era" as an argument. If the schedule is different than any other year in the KFz era, that fact is important to the discussion.

I never said it's never been done. I said it's been done once, so clearly you're in such a flurry to call me a troll and disagree that you can't even get basic facts correct.

The schedule is different every year, in case you hadn't noticed. So, again, I fail to see your point.

I wanna ruling, is Hogeye a troll or not a troll? I say troll. The fact he thinks 5-0 might not happen is clearly troll like. The fact he contests every post(er) that don't subscribe to his narrow view is troll like. What's even worse is he'll do it with an occasional fact or worse yet, a little logic. That is troll like.

It's simple Hogeye-
We have young and/or unproven players at many positions.
We have players getting used to new position coaches and even new coorindators.

All of that adds up to 5-0 and if we're not 5-0 than heads should (t)roll (I'm kinda proud of my rhyme and play on words).

Vote and vote often, troll or not-a-troll

Does Oregon State have talent? They won 3 games last year. They lost, at home, to Sacramento State. I guess Indiana has some talent, too.

Hey, Wisconsin could lose to Indiana.

I didn't say they were a really good team. What I mean is that Ore St typically recruits at about Iowa's level, and better than more than a few b10 teams in terms of the recruits they pull in. West coast teams typically have a fair amount of speed, and are not pushovers when playing out there.

Wisky may blow them out, but I do think they have some talent.

I believe there is more talent parity in college football than in the past. Heck, Iowa definitely has more talent than ISU, Minny, and arguably jNW, but we lose to them, too. Every team has some talent, and if you don't execute, they can beat you. That's all I was trying to say.

Oregon State has some real issues. They don't have a single returning player that made first or second team PAC-12 on offense. They are relying on incoming FR and CC transfers to patch holes on the OL that lacks depth and has injury issues. They never did establish a reliable RB out of the group last year...all of which are returning. Their QB is a returning SO that has little talent to work with on that side of the ball.

Defensively they are a little more sound. They do return one standout in the secondary last year. They do have some additional JR/SR talent returning that should help, but if that D is stuck on the field too much because the O is incompetent again it's going to be another long, long year.

I am not sure Wisconsin walks in and rolls up a huge lead with a new QB coming in and being an early season road game, but I think they win solidly with their run game and defense.

I know its a stretch, but Wisconsin could lose to UNI( first game jitters against an always tough UNI), at Oregan St (go Beavers- West Coast jinx), and at Nebraska. A 2-3 record in first 5 games COULD happen!!

Iowa COULD be 5-0?

Iowa has a better chance of being 2-3 (or worse) than Wiscy. They will be 4-1 at worst.
