KF just practicing socialism on the gridiron: takes W's from the top tier teams and gives W's to the low tier teams.

Yeah, really. A guy in Oklahoma has the choice of watching OU or OSU, both of whom are good. Instead, the guy chooses Iowa. You really think any OU fan wouldn't find that amusing? Iowa isn't as good as either of those teams; that doesn't make Iowa the laughingstock of the Big Ten.

Purdue is a laughingstock, whether you want to believe it or not. Any team that you can look at and immediately chalk up a win against, is a team worthy of laughingstock status.

And I make no apologies for calling people out for making stupid statements.

Unfortunately the coaching staff must be watching other games. When we get Rudock up to the line and get plays called quickly we move the ball when we go back to Power Ferentz left then Power Ferentz right 3 quarters into the ball game the D knows what we are doing. Pathetic half of play calling. For some reason someone woke up in OT.

Great win totally defined our season. To hold NW to 10 points was a thing of beauty. Too bad the offense can't help the D out in the 2nd half and move the D A M ball.
 
Please take "Hawk" out of your name. You're a laughingstock for being an idiot. You're an embarassment for letting an Oklahoma fan belittle you in public. You're a ***** for coming here and belittling a victory because you got emasculated in a sh%thole state. It would be tempting to pay someone to bike-rack your sorry azz.
 
The DL played very well. My teenage girl yells at 'em for not getting the QB when they flush him. I can't convince her that it's hard for 6'4" 300 pounders to chase down a 6' gazelle.

The LBs looked spotty today with some good plays. They probably still are on the + side. Morris made a couple of very good plays but doesn't look like he breaks down for tackles in open field? Maybe I'm taking after my daughter?

Solid play by DBs.
 
I'm the biggest KF critic that there might be but I will never bash him for a win against any team in the Big Ten. Some questionable play calls and personnel decisions but in the end a win is a win.

Now if you want to bash him for not being able to motivate his guys against like and sub talented teams then go for it.

Good for the players and coaches on this win. Time to hunt some Badgers. This next game is huge for the future of Iowa Football.

No one is bashing him for getting a win. Their bashing the complete ineptitude that was the entire second half (again). If it weren't for King making a play, we lose that game. Northwestern was moving the ball with ease until that crucial turnover. The reason that play mattered so much was because we made no changes to the offensive attack until the very end, and it stopped working about midway through the second quarter.

Northwestern, without Mark and playing with a not-100% Colter, is not a very good team. Employ a similar strategy to future (better) opponents, and we don't get to OT. THAT is what has people upset right now.

^^ Exactly, great to get the win but the offense went into running into a brick wall mode for 2 qtrs, then we have some success passing late in the 4th only to start running again when we get to about the 35, then we bog down.

It is a great win, especially considering how we didnt take one shot downfield to back up their safeties or gameplan in any counter plays to NW flowing totally to our first motion.
 
always love a win against the mildcats.... but ya it didn't make me think suddenly we have this season all figured out.

We actually played worse than we did against OSU.
 
Great win.... awful second half coaching by Ferentz and company once again. Sheesh... what a lack of creativity by Ferentz and Davis.... Run a screen pass! Run a draw play! Run a play action pass. Throw on first down. It's not that hard to be creative.
