Who has the best +/- for HN so far this season? I keep seeing the name "Herbie" in lots of posts. Does he score the best +/- for HN this season? What say you, Boat?

+/- is interesting, but I'd like to see +/- groupings as opposed to individuals.

It seems like Fran was pretty consistent in almost playing squads in the early games, meaning Clemmons was often on the floor with Josh O, May and Basabe (who is a good player, but not a scoring threat) at the same time. I'm assuming Clemmons' +/- is much better when he is playing with Gesell and Marble.

I'm torn between Gesell and Marble, Marble is Iowa's best player, but Gesell has mostly played with the starters, as either the one or two. I'm going with Mike.

I think +/- is best situationally. I would like to see the +/- for specific lineups rather than individual players. For example I would like to see the +/- for lineups with white at the 3 vs. White at the 4. Or something like the +/- of clemmons at the point vs when gesell is at the point. Or +/- of marble at the point vs at a wing.

I hope they can do something with basketball similar to the qbr in football because they could hopefully factor in defense and other things to determine each players effectiveness.

+50 for Herbie. 60% of the time, he posts stats every time.

I believe his line is 100% of the time, he posts stats every time.

In the recruiting forum he made it very clear he doesn't form his own opinions he just posts stats.

#2 - Dev Marble 12.9 (19th in the B1G)

which means the winner is...

#1 Mike Gesell 14.3 (15th in the B1G)

White and Gesell received the fewest votes, yet were 1 and 3 on the team.
I'm extremely surprised at the votes for Mel and lack of votes for White.

I often go to a site called stat sheet that uses this. Geselll is ranked 15th in the Big Ten in this Category and #1 for the team.

Deshaun Thomas leads the Big Ten with a 21.4
