When did you turn Anti-Ferentz

Fake punt MSU 2013, the football program felt tired and/or stale, a realization from here on out the high point under ferentz will be a 7 or 8 win season.

Doyle is considered one of the best in the business...by many if not most. Not my opinion...literally fact. He has national awards and recognitions to prove it. Not saying...just saying.

I love coach Doyle and I sent him an email following that incident, in support of him because I think it was an honest mistake. But it was clearly a mistake and one that left me scratching my head after I read what that workout was. I already told you that I don't train people for a living but I have done extensive work with weights. I wouldn't have attempted that exorcise because I always valued being able to walk the day after a workout.

I don't know if "Anti Ferentz" is exactly the right way to put it.. he has pulled of some miracle seasons in his day and kept the ship going for the most part.

However to be bluntly honest I never have been a huge fan - even when we were having our glorious 2002-2004 his constant conservative nature drove me bonkers.

Great man I just don't like his in game coaching - it doesn't make sense and its outdated even for 1933

This is my exact thoughts as well. So many times during the good years he had me thinking "what the hell are you doing?". He makes it hard to completely want him gone tho because he puts some really good teams on the field. But the good years can be more frustrating than the bad ones.

In '02 and '09 we had legit top 3 talent teams at worst. Not many coaches at Iowa could do that.

I totally agree with you here.... that was the most embarrassing thing I have ever seen!

KF had my blood boiling day one by taking almost two months to show up in Iowa City....loyalty my butt...he did not want to burn his NFL bridges. When he lost me for good is easy...the last minute of regulation in Columbus 2009....NO Iowa fan should ever forgive him for that cowardly decision!!!
