You are obviously making something up because on the replay it only shows the PI. If you go back on your DVR and watch the play in real time you get a clear picture of Meeker blocking Jones. Someone chips Jones to start and then Meeker has him in front of him his hands are inside his frame the whole time and there is no grabbing of the jersey or anything. Meeker simply dominates him, there is no hold there. Maybe the ref thinks he sees something because Jones goes to the turf, its wet and Meeker outweighs him by at least 60 lbs but its a horrible call. If thats wrong someone put a video up that shows something different. If that play is called correctly ISU has the ball on the 20 with a little over 2 minutes left.
Iowa also gets the break on the run by Goodson setting up their last field goal where they completely ignore the block in the back in the backfield. If the penalty is called Iowa is backed up out of field goal range and who knows if they get close enough to try the field goal.
They lucked out on holding calls all day. Could have easily had 150 yards in holding penalties. The Clown fans in my FB are crying over a “phantom” holding call on that PI.
Jeez, I called that hold as it was happening.
I just peed my pants!
Fat Nate was Nimble Nate on some critical third down scrambles.
Just had to get into the end zone once as it turned out. And thank God we did.

The side ref was consistently spotting Iowa a foot to even a full yard short (Smith hurdle). In a one point game, obviously ever inch matters. That’s football. Winners don’t whine about it and write letters to the conference, they keep playing.Refs this,Refs that... How many calls in the game along with hundreds of other games are missed. So the clones didn’t get away with any penalties at all.. C’mon man. Own the defeat. Ya think maybe the boneheaded turbo dr where ISU teammate is attacking his own teammate could be the reason they lost
Still lots of Fat Nate jokes.
the block in the back was incidental and they didn't call that all game on either team throughout the game. there were several isu runs to that left side where a similar block to occurred to the back but didn't get called because of its incidental nature. You are obviously making something up because on the replay it only shows the PI. Both were terrible when it counted.During the broadcast the announcers said they talk to Heacock the ISU D Cordinator. He says he doesn't care about the yards given up, he said tell me what you did in the red zone and on 3rd down. According to Heacock Iowa's defense was better yesterday than ISU's.
It's up there with UCLA fans chanting "Carfino, you're ugly" in a game at Pauley Pavilion many years ago. This whole Nate is fat thing is baffling. I think it’s purely a cyclone message board thing. I’ve seen nothing about it on twitter and didn’t see any signs mentioning it on gameday, or at least any prominently displayed signs. You’d think if it were really an issue Randy Peterson would have mentioned it by now
Is it an ironic fat thing? It must be a cyclone thing.
Yeah, it's sort of nice to have a good punter. It can affect games even at the high school level. Both were terrible when it counted.
Mistake-free special teams from Iowa and mongoloidian special teams from Lames was the difference. Skin that cat 10 different ways and it still comes out as special teams play being the winner.
Nate’s 3rd and 22 shot and his other nice throws are great, but he had just as many misses (the cause of those misses is irrelevant). The Hawkeyes plain lose this game if Duncan isn’t perfect or Sleep-Dalton punts like Bruce Jr.
And just for the homerish rubes out there who told the rest of us that the Rastetter thing wasn’t worth freaking out over, do you see the past two games how fucking important a good kicker and punter is???
Trust me it's in the Kool aid over there!Reading CryClownfantasies right now is GLORIOUS! I mean seriously I didn't know that ISU was CLEARLY the better team (even though Iowa had to play on the road with tons of weather delays and without nearly 4 key contributors out and 1/2 of its secondary out).
ISU gots it's two scores because Matt Hankins was injured, so congrats on ISU scheming the young DB and taking advantage. Besides that ISU pretty much did nothing all game long, but ISU fans think that ISU dominated the entire game.....LOLOLOL....I am really enjoying swimming in these Clown tears!
