What does each team lose next year...

I only included players averaging at least 4 points a game. I included underclassmen that NBA mock drafts are projecting to go in the 1st round…may have missed someone. Hayes of Wisconsin is not projected to go in the 1st round.

Indiana – Bielfeldt, Zeisloft and Ferrell
Iowa – Clemmons, Gesell, Uthoff and Woodbury
Maryland – Sulaimon, Layman, Stone (FR) and Trimble (SO)
Ohio State – No One
Michigan State – Forbes, Costello, Valentine and Davis (FR)
Wisconsin – No One
Purdue – Hammons and Davis
Michigan – LeVert
Nebraska – Shields and Parker
Northwestern – Demps
Penn State – Foster, Jack and Taylor
Illinois – Thorne
Minnesota – King and Morris…recently kicked off team
Rutgers – Daniels, Grier and Lewis

This is where I usually say other teams are losing just as much as we are. Michigan State and Maryland are probably losing as much as we are. Indiana and Purdue are losing important pieces. But Ohio State, Wisconsin and Michigan (LaVert hasn't even played half of the season) look to be well positioned going into next season.

We have so many question marks for next year that it's likely we are an NIT team at best. Hope I'm wrong but we will go from being the most experienced team in the B1G to the least experienced.

Wow...the Big Ten as a whole looks like it will be really down next year. Who is the runaway Big Ten favorite at this point for next year? I honestly have no idea. It seems wide open

Michigan State loses a ton but they do have 2 5-stars and 2 4-stars coming in next year.

I do expect Nigel Hayes to come out after this year, but could easily be wrong. One thing I find interesting is that Wisconsin signed ZERO players in their recruiting class. Obviously the turnover with Bo Ryan and all of that was probably the main cause, but you go to back-to-back final fours and send the player of the year to the NBA, and you basically get nothing out of it by way of recruiting? That has to be tough to swallow in madison. Bo Ryan may have left that program in shambles depending on how this year and the next couple years go.

Michigan is an interesting team in that they already know what its like to be without LeVert. However, without LeVert they haven't been all that impressive either.

Im still bullish on the Hawks next season. I think Moss is going to surprise people. With Jok as a preseason all big ten, Cook coming in and hopefully some further development by Dom...I think a core is there to do....something. The Hawks will have a brand new identity though that's for sure. Uthoff/Gesell/Woody seem to be "all business" but Jok will be the senior and he's more showy and flashy. I'd expect more athleticism and a lot more turnovers. Fun to watch though. Alley oops and all that. I don't know if the Hawks have thrown a single alley oop this year, which is crazy considering all the Alley Oops they threw to Aaron White last year.

It appears Wisconsin might be the team to beat next year, Ohio State and Michigan should do well also. MSU will always be in the mix, I'm sure Izzo has a star studded incoming freshman class.

Ohio St, Michigan, and Wisky are going to be very good. MSU is always good. They will be your top 4.

Illinois COULD surprise, but will probably blow it.

We could fight to be a middle of the pack but still an NCAA team if things go our way.

Or, we could really stink. We still have no PG.

I think the top 4 will be WI, MI, MSU and OSU. I think the next 3 will be PU, IA and IN. Shuffle the other 7 any way you like. MN is my dark horse to be in the top 7.

Any idea who the favorite is for 2016-7 PG? I don't think they have one on next year's roster.
One of the keys to success this season has been a huge reduction in turnovers.

Next year's team will definetely be much more athletic, but without a PG, they ceiling is lowered for the next coup,e years I imagine.

Maybe be they play three shooting guards, Jok, Moss, Flemming Ellingson, or Williams to go with Uhl, Wagner, Cook, Baer, Jones and Hutton up front.

Most of these guys are 6'4"- 6'8" probably somewhat interchangeable. Should be good 3 point shooting team, tough to guard, but have to be intentional about crashing the boards as a team with no real size.

Christian williams is a freshman this year and has seen limited minutes at point. He's the heir apparent at this point

Next year they have jordan Bohannon coming in as well. 4 star recruit.

Fran has said that ellingson can play point but I kinda hope it doesn't come to that

Around 25 points 93% free throw and 45% from 3. I saw a tweet that showed his stats and said "Mr basketball? "

If you're on twitter, follow Blair Sanderson . He does a "following the future" bit where he posts stats every week on all the Iowa commits games. Bohannon also let 4A in made 3's and free throw percentage. Also saw he led 4A in scoring this year and "it wasn't even close".

Yeah but who's going to play PG next year.

A PG who can make free throws? I didnt think those things existed.

Thanks for the updates

I think Iowa is going to be pretty good next year. They should be more than adequate offensively, and they have a lot of potential to be a great defensive team. They should be a pretty deep team by the time the conference starts next year. I doubt they will be able to replace this years experience, but they will have a couple of guys that were redshirted and won't be new to the system. It should be fun to watch Williams at the point with his seven foot wingspan. Bohannon should be a guy that can be important at the end of the games with his free throw shooting. Wagner, Cook, Pemsl, and Kriener are pretty muscular, and they seem to be pretty good offensive players. Wagner will probably be a better shooter next year, and his quickness is tough to defend. It will be interesting how it all works out. Cook is highly rated, and Pemsl / Kriener were underated due to the injuries they had in high school. The Prime Time League and how they are drafted should be interesting.

Yeah, while they may struggle early MSU's class next year is crazy. Per Rivals they have the #11,18,28,and 45 recruits signed.

Glad he can shoot, how many B10 impact players have come from that HS conference? Just curious what kind of competition he's going against. Not many small white guards make an impact in B10, especially as a freshman.

I'd be pleasantly surprised after seeing his highlight tape if he saw much time next season.
