Purdue – Hammons, Davis, Stephens (JR) and Swanigan (FR)
Iowa – Clemmons, Gesell, Uthoff and Woodbury
Wisconsin – No One
Ohio State – No One
Michigan – LeVert and Dawkins (SO)
Northwestern – Demps
Penn State – Foster, Jack and Taylor
Nebraska – Shields and Parker
Illinois – Thorne and Nunn (JR)...Assault Charges so ?
Minnesota – King, Morris and Dorsey (FR)
Rutgers – Daniels, Grier and Lewis

Wait a minute didn't Ohio St. have 3 or 4 kids transfer out? None of them contributed much this year, but weren't they counting on Giddeons(i think that is his name) to contribute a lot next year?

He's a skinny white kid with a baby face. When a kid who looks like him does something bad, it stands out more than when a strong "athletic looking" guy makes a mistake. It doesn't help that he's not making shots.

This is a really good observation. When someone doesn't "look the part" their mistakes are more glaring. Right or wrong, it just is. I am in the SteveGarvey1 camp I can see it playing out both ways he "figures it out" and contributes or he gets a free education and does nothing significant on the court at all.

He didn't play in 6 of the last 8 games. In the last 10 games, he played a total of 10 minutes combined.

Fran saw something at the end of the season... Brady got an opportunity and couldn't do anything with it.

He still played 250 minutes on the season, he started missing shots and his playing time went away. If he was as bad as people make him out to be he wouldn't have played at all

Thanks! I don't think the Big 10 will do so hot in the ACC Challange this year. Other than Wisconsin, pretty much every team loses the reasons they were good.

I don't remember the stipulations for the list, but I do believe MSU also lost two transfers and OSU lost 4.

The best news from this list I would say is Stone/ Carter and Davis heading for the league. Maybe Iowa's lack of big time size won't hurt us this year.

My cutoff is players that averaged at least 4 points a game. Teams lost other players that would have contributed a lot next year (OSU for sure), may have played great defense but didn't score much, etc. But I have to cut if off somewhere.

Yes, I remember it being something of the sort. MSU lost two guys who I think we're both 4 star recruits but they also brought in a transfer I think.

After looking at that list though, none of those teams really scare me, outside of UW, who will be the class of the league next year.

Wisconsin last year was a lot like Nebraska a few years ago. It was a perfect combination of they sucked enough to make opponents not take them seriously enough and them getting on a roll at the right time. They will be pretty good next year but how good is blown out of proportion due to a 10 game hot streak. At least I hope.

I hope you're right. Happ and Hayes inside and Koenig outside is a pretty formidable core however.

I missed that stipulation. Probably should have read your op before diving into this thread.:) I was thinking to myself , " Windsor is a very knowledgeable college bball guy why are there these glaring omissions?" Now I know, I should have paid closer attention to what was going on.;)
