West Virginia blowing the doors off of the Clowns!

Saw the Clones got payback last night, and the DM Register pointed out that they Clones were 8-1 in the Big 12 in February, best in the Big 12. Looks like they did indeed wake up after the West Virginia loss earlier this month.

They've been playing better lately. You must be very proud.

I hate to say it, but the clowns know how to defend homecourt. After the KU loss there, no one else is winning inside hilton.

Iowa screwed the pooch this year by allowing more than one homecourt defeat. Just cannot do that.

You do realize they are something like 55-2 at Hilton the past couple seasons only losing those 2 games to Kansas? They don't lose at home. They are an automatic at Hilton. They won't lose at home in the foreseeable future either. They have a true home court advantage.

I understand this. But cannot Iowa start to develop something like that too? Why are the Hawks so laissez-faire about their homecourt?

It's the age of the crowd....ISU has a lot of young fans right down on the floor. Their fans that sit close to the court seem much younger than the Iowa crowds. When you look at the Iowa crowd, all you see are the older (50-70 year old) big time cash rich supporters sitting court side. Old people just don't get as wound up and yell as loud as a younger crowd.
