Now, dont get me wrong, if we get down early, have turnovers, and give up big plays... it could be bad. nebby can score points and has talent.

MSU- To their credit they gutted this one out, but needed the help of 2 turnovers, shitty weather, and a 15/41 performance by MSU's QB, who themselves have been having offensive troubles, and mustered a measly 9 points against them while fumbling twice. As I expected the first real defense they've faced during their recent run largely stymied them, so forgive me if I'm not shaking in my boots.

Have to throw that game out due to the weather, I'm afraid. I hope I am wrong, I just really, really hate to lose to Nebraska.

I think we need an at least decent run game to give us a time of possession advantage. The longer we can keep their offense on the sidelines, the better. And if our defense plays like I think it can, we can control their offense, at least to some degree. Not looking for a shutout next week through, they will move the ball and score some points. The "X" factor will be to control Martinez and not let him get out of the pocket and burn us for long runs (especially on third downs). And Nebby's defense is not exactly world-beater either.

#2. Pressure Martinez (your #3). Keep the edge on him but dont sit back.
