We need to find ways to get Micah Hyde the ball

Disappointed the direction this thread has taken... Chuckle hut this is not. Can we get back to Micahs speed pls let's focus because he is super fast, Tim Dwight fast!

I can't ever recall being next to someone who was remotely intelligent who bitched about the play calling. Usually it's some fat drunken slob who somehow thinks the dozens of games he's seen from his awesome north endzone seats where you can see the plays develop* make him an authority on play calling. They almost always drop the "CALL A PASS" after a one yard gain on a running play, and two plays later are screeching for a run after an incomplete pass or a sack. I really like when they ***** about the "conservative" play calls after JVB checks down to an underneath route on a 3rd and 9 despite the fact the three or four other receivers are running routes down field. My personal favorite though is when we get stuck in a 3rd and 20 type situation and we run some screen, draw, or safe underneath route cause lets face it, there ain't much in a playbook designed to get you 20, especially when the other team knows we need 20 to get the first. This last guy is totally bolivous to the game situation as well. There was one next to me in the bar on Saturday on that 3rd and 20 from the UNI 40. We ran some underneath route that ended up getting us into FG position (one that we made). He didn't see that field goal because he was too busy storming off the the bathroom (after slamming his glass on the bar) because we ran "a play that had no chance to get a first down", but that field goal put us in position to win the game.

Or people who think they know who should get the ball more.

He is fast. But, does not have elite speed. Jordan bernstine had elite speed. Greg Garmon, has elite speed if his story checks out about the 10.6 100. Jordan canzeri has elite quickness. Kirksy has great speed relative to his position. Micah Hyde is fast, but he is not that fast.

I could cate less about track times. Again go back and watch him almost run down the UNI without an angle. Watch him beat the entire Mizzou team to the corner and then house. That is elite fball speed. The dude just operates at a different speed on the field from everyone else. We havent had anyone do that since Tim D. Yes, he is that fast.

I don't think he is Tim Dwight fast or we would have seen more Tim Dwight like plays and returns up to this point. But he is fast enough that we should try to get the ball in his hands more often. He is a serious scoring threat anytime he gets an interception.
Let's try a reverse or screen pass to him and let him go.

BAM

Had he not tripped over his own feet on a punt return late in the 3rd Saturday, he was gone. There was nobody on that side of the field.

Yep--looked like he may have had a seam. The field was in ****-poor condition. Not really his fault for slipping on that turf.
