Yeah in April. Nice try though. Listen to the podcast please.
Like Dean said, they make it pretty clear what the plan is. It will be PG by platoon this year and then Connor will come in and be the guy. You seem to think that's going to be a catastrophe. I, and clearly many others, think they will be just fine. We'll find out who was correct in awhile. I think that pretty much sums up the entire discussion.

How did our PG situation change since April?
I don't really get the whole doom and gloom thing. Fran has taken the program from the lowest of lows, to 3 straight NCAA's, two consecutive 3rd place B1G finishes. Basically 80's and 90's level success. He has earned my trust, I think the talent level is high on this squad, and going to get even better over the next three years with Conner, Weiscamp, and Patrick. I'm pretty sure Fran is gonna do just fine over the next 3-5 years.
It hasn't changed, but clearly their minds have. They know more about the situation.
They're wrong just as much as their right. In April we needed a PG badly and now we're going to be just fine. Makes no sense to me
Why did we "need a PG badly" in April? Just curios, as when Fran had a million more options available he decided to offer and accept commitments from Kreiner, Cook, Pemsl, and Bohannon. Fran was good with those players then knowing that CW and Bohannon would be the PG next year.
You might think we desperately need a traditional PG, but obviously Fran feels differently.
But it has changed. Bohannon turned out to be better than people thought he would be and it got out that Williams is fine at point. It hasn't changed, but clearly their minds have. They know more about the situation.
That's what Mark said, you know the guy that knows more about the situation than us

Listen, I have concerns about the Pg position as well. I'm just saying I'm not going to throw the baby out with the bath water and declare what we have currently (CW & Bohannon) are a failure after 1 PTL game.

In April, all these guys thought just like 5656 still does. They have since changed their minds due to more info.
How did Bohannon and Williams get better from April? Does the Register go to their summer workouts or something
LMFAO!Williams is smoother with his dribble than Marble was as a freshman.
I would assume that every player D1 P5 player has improved since April. Why do you think they haven't improved? In 95% of the cases all of these players continue to develop while on the program.
That still doesn't make sense why they said in April we needed a PG and now we don't. It's not like they were assuming CW and Bohannon weren't going to improve at all in the off season
