Watching the PTL games

Because we had 2 Sr. PG. Like I keep saying a Fr. Marble doesn't earn PG minutes on last years team either.

Marble is more of a PG than CW but I think he would have earned more minutes as a freshman last season than CW did. Let's face it, if Ellingson was producing CW wouldn't have been in the rotation at the end of the year

Who was the backup PG minutes going to in '10-'11? Marble was the only other option. If it was just Gesell at the PG with no Clemmons, then CW is the backup PG all year long. So the makeup of last years team was 2 PG with one playing SG, while the '10-'11 team was 1 PG with 1 SG and then 1 combo F/G playing the SG position.

Please tell me you understand the difference between last year's team and the '10-'11 team.

He doesn't even understand the difference between what a player did at the beginning of the year vs how he did at the end. How is he supposed to understand the difference between two different teams?

If Ellingson produced, you wouldn't have been able to use him as a negative for CW playing behind him.

Fran was quoted as saying Williams was too good to not get on the court.

I'm sure Fran was going to say "Ellingson was so bad so I had to play Williams". Williams took Ellingson's spot in the rotation, Fran wasn't going to throw in another guard in the rotation later in the season if Ellingson was filling his role

So we know that early in the year Williams was worse than early in the year Ellingson who was making shots, and we know late in the year Williams was far enough ahead of late in the year Ellingson who wasn't making shots to force Fran to make a change late in the season. Fran isn't going to make that change unless there is a pretty noticeable gap.

I assume Fran decided to redshirt him instead of Williams because he thought Moss had more upside.

Terrible assumption. Remember, we were in a position where we didn't have to sign Williams. We had plenty of "wings" on the team. Fran isn't just trying to funnel him through his 4 years. Come on man, that is just a terrible terrible assumption.

So you think Moss is worse than Ellingson? I think Moss has more upside and that's why he got redshirted. Maybe I'm wrong but that's my opinion

Hopefully not now. But at the beginning of the year he was less ready to play than Ellingson and Williams.

He could have been more ready to play than Williams but Fran thought he had more upside of the two and decided to redshirt him. I don't think Fran was ever planning on playing Williams last year with how he used his rotation

If Moss was the best of the bunch, no way he red shirts.
