Until late in the season where he played a lot more. How does it not matter to you that he progressed as the year went on?So he chose to never play him point last year and keep him in the bench most of the season

Because we had 2 Sr. PG. Like I keep saying a Fr. Marble doesn't earn PG minutes on last years team either.
Who was the backup PG minutes going to in '10-'11? Marble was the only other option. If it was just Gesell at the PG with no Clemmons, then CW is the backup PG all year long. So the makeup of last years team was 2 PG with one playing SG, while the '10-'11 team was 1 PG with 1 SG and then 1 combo F/G playing the SG position.
Please tell me you understand the difference between last year's team and the '10-'11 team.

Marble is more of a PG than CW but I think he would have earned more minutes as a freshman last season than CW did. Let's face it, if Ellingson was producing CW wouldn't have been in the rotation at the end of the year
If Ellingson produced, you wouldn't have been able to use him as a negative for CW playing behind him.
Fran was quoted as saying Williams was too good to not get on the court.
Exactly, then at least I would have some more hope with him like I do with Moss
Moss was buried further behind Ellingson than Williams was at the beginning of the year.
I assume Fran decided to redshirt him instead of Williams because he thought Moss had more upside.
Terrible assumption. Remember, we were in a position where we didn't have to sign Williams. We had plenty of "wings" on the team. Fran isn't just trying to funnel him through his 4 years. Come on man, that is just a terrible terrible assumption.
So you think Moss is worse than Ellingson? I think Moss has more upside and that's why he got redshirted. Maybe I'm wrong but that's my opinion
Hopefully not now. But at the beginning of the year he was less ready to play than Ellingson and Williams.
He could have been more ready to play than Williams but Fran thought he had more upside of the two and decided to redshirt him. I don't think Fran was ever planning on playing Williams last year with how he used his rotation
If Moss was the best of the bunch, no way he red shirts.
If Moss isn't better than Williams or Ellingson that's not a positive thing...
Depends on how good Moss is.
