As for the clone fans claiming vice versa with a straight face... remember these are the same people that think Paul Roadzo-the-Clown is the next Hayden Fry... Kinnick is a dump and Trice is the gem of the Midwest...and are foolish enough to say out loud that winning one football game makes IOWA "the cyclone state". <gag> (see above post)
 
Just listen to the amount of BOOOing that takes place in Hilton tomorrow night. It's quite amazing. they will boo at anything. They can do no wrong.
 
I would say that college basketball fans pretty much universally hate the refs (thus you will hear booing everywhere) though college basketball refs suck and deserve it.

We'll see if Iowa State basketball fans boo their own players when they're down 27 with 5 minutes to go tomorrow night though.

I assume the team and staff will all be wearing helmets tomorrow, and a minimum of two armed guards in the locker room.
 
no way, ISU fans are the most polite fans in the country.

also, i loved the chair slam. surprises me that so many people made such a big deal about it. now, if he did that crap regularly it would be a concern. but one time when the team is terrible? NBD.

It irks me that they choose to bring their nonsense to a Hawkeye message board instead of sticking with their own over on CryFan. I wish Jon were a little more like Chrissy Williams and actively weeded out some of these ne'r-do-wells.

That's complete ********. I don't despise Iowa State and like to see both schools do well (that's better for everyone involved, anyway). But I've always rooted for Iowa over ISU when they play each other, and I have no intentions of changing that.

I just don't harbor the kind of hatred for ISU that I have for Wisconsin, or even Minnesota. I'm friends with way too many people who root for/attended Iowa State (not to mention a few who have competed there in various sports) to hate them.
