Not sure when the voting ends, but Iowa is in the lead for best Big 10 Helmet. Did a quick look and didn't see this already posted, sorry if I missed it.

Iowa SHOULD win this, but I'd anyone dollars to donuts Michigan will end up winning...even though they stole their helmet design.

Never did understand all the love for the Michigan helmet. Gaudy design. Sometimes less is more...

For my money, our helmets rock. Even if I was unbiased, I think they are sweet.

The beauty of PSU's uniforms is in their simplicity. I'll take them over Oregon any day.

It's an iconic helmet. Nearly everyone recognizes our helmets, EVERYONE recognizes OSU, PSU, and Michigan.

If i were voting without bias i would vote for PSU.
 
I think the Tiger Hawk is the best logo but i would vote OSU as the best helmet...those are sweet

I love everything about Iowa's uniforms and wouldnt change a thing tho
 
michigan has a stupid and ugly helmet

i agree with others i like ohio states when they have stickers on them

It's about the simplicity man. OSU's helmets are pretty cool, especially with the decals. PSU is PSU. Those uniforms are typical JoePa. And in case you didn't know, JoePa is just about the coolest coach in the country. What works for him works for me.

Fixed that for you. The decals on the OSU helmet are gaudy at best. I hate them. However I agree that simplicity can be a good thing.
 
I hate the OSU helmet stickers. Hi, grade school called and they want their gold star system back. Really you need a sticker? If you do something bad do you get one taken away? Sorry helmet stickers just annoy the crap out of me, unless it is for a good cause...i.e. remembering a team member who died.

The only marks the hawks need on their helmet is the marks that come from the battle in the trenches.

What is more simple then the tigerhawk logo? I am a designer and that is a bold and simple graphic. On top of it many college athletic programs have redesign their school logos based off the simplicity of the tigerhawk. K-state and Penn State to name two.

What's more simple than a bold and simple graphic? Maybe a helmet that has just the player's number on the side ('Bama), or maybe, just maybe a helmet that has no logo at all? It's hard to get more simple than a white helmet.
