Trump supporters, how do you square this?

Did he or did he not sign the agreement that was extended? He likes to claim everything that’s good for the U.S but blames everyone but himself if something goes wrong. I assume you don’t care about that.
He signed the agreement on trade prices for the trade that was already put in long before he was in office. Damn it I was right again when I said you would pretend that distinction doesn't matter.

He signed it. He bragged about it. There’s pictures and news clips to prove it. Lies and bs and America eats it up. Stupid as Germans in 39. Humans are embarrassing
He bragged about the new trade deal on the trades that were already in place. Someone long before Trump allowed Canada the ability to cut off some of our power. That said, Trump could have done something to put the wheels in motion to eventually change that. Sounds like that would involve some infrastructure changes. Whoever thought that was a good idea to set it up that way 50 years ago wasn't very smart. Pretty obvious that's who Trump was referring to.

Did he sign the agreement that he hates??? Did someone put a gun to his head? I know you have a long history of not answering questions and then saying “gotcha”

Trying to hash out better trade deals and putting in motion a plan for an eventual stop to something someone else did a long time ago are two separate things. Should he have done the latter? From reading about how little it would affect us if Canada shut us off, it's probably not worth it. Is he the one responsible for doing it like the link you provided suggests? Nope.

Gotcha.

Damn it I was right again, you can’t answer the actual question. Did he sign the deal or not? He obviously could have changed whatever he didn’t like in the first place instead of now saying it was someone else’s fault.

It was someone else's fault for setting up the infrastructure that way 50 years ago.
