Trump supporters, how do you square this?

Did he or did he not sign the agreement that was extended? He likes to claim everything that’s good for the U.S but blames everyone but himself if something goes wrong. I assume you don’t care about that.
He signed the agreement on trade prices for the trade that was already put in long before he was in office. Damn it I was right again when I said you would pretend that distinction doesn't matter.

He signed it. He bragged about it. There’s pictures and news clips to prove it. Lies and bs and America eats it up. Stupid as Germans in 39. Humans are embarrassing
He bragged about the new trade deal on the trades that were already in place. Someone long before Trump allowed Canada the ability to cut off some of our power. That said, Trump could have done something to put the wheels in motion to eventually change that. Sounds like that would involve some infrastructure changes. Whoever thought that was a good idea to set it up that way 50 years ago wasn't very smart. Pretty obvious that's who Trump was referring to.

Did he sign the agreement that he hates??? Did someone put a gun to his head? I know you have a long history of not answering questions and then saying “gotcha”

Trying to hash out better trade deals and putting in motion a plan for an eventual stop to something someone else did a long time ago are two separate things. Should he have done the latter? From reading about how little it would affect us if Canada shut us off, it's probably not worth it. Is he the one responsible for doing it like the link you provided suggests? Nope.

Gotcha.

Damn it I was right again, you can’t answer the actual question. Did he sign the deal or not? He obviously could have changed whatever he didn’t like in the first place instead of now saying it was someone else’s fault.

It was someone else's fault for setting up the infrastructure that way 50 years ago.

What reality are you living in to argue that Musk isn't smart? Tell me you're not really saying that.
You need to read everything I said. "Being rich doesn't make a person smart" is hyperbole, you know, what tRump pushes 24/7. How many intelligent people has he called stupid? Are you going to drag him for that as well? Being rich and/or smart doesn't mean you're capable of running (or ruining) all of the government agencies. There are plenty of high IQ people that have done terrible things, like Ed Kemper or Ted Kaczynski, for example.

I'm not even sure what to do with this post. On one hand I completely agree with it. On the other I'm even more confused with you're "being rich doesn't mean you're smart" comment. Of course smart people MIGHT not be capable of running agencies. Of course smart people MIGHT do bad things. He has been vetted and all of DOGE has been vetted with the exact same process as everyone else. Whoever gets hired for any job anywhere MIGHT do bad things, even after being vetted. Does that mean no one should ever be hired and nothing should ever get done? Someone has to do this job to clean up spending. Trump could have hired anyone in the world and you wouldn't trust them. This isn't a DOGE issue or a Musk issue. It is all about Trump. With Musk's business record he is the perfect person to do this. Trump being in charge is the only reason to not like it.

More tRump from the 1980's. It's really surprising how little he's changed.
Good find thanks for the link! It's unbelievable Trump would use his own building to house the homeless and even pay for nurses and medicine for them out of his own pocket. So generous. On a side not. I'm dealing with a rich elderly lady at my work right now so I feel his pain on that one. They. Are. The. Worst.

Once again assuming. But I would have more trust in that person if there was some kind of accountability of what they're doing.

So firing people and then realizing that was wrong makes Musk perfect for that position? Do you see how being smart doesn't make you the most qualified person? If he was so smart, those people wouldn't have been fired to then in turn have the urgency to hire them back.

You're absolute love affair with those two are crazy.

Did you even read the article??? Once again, love affair

I could say that tRump has accused of sexually assaulting over 25 women, oh wait he was, and you would say how he allowed those women to sleep with him. Such an outstanding giver....
