Tracking 2015 Class Offers

The bad news just keeps on coming. Looks like 2 players Iowa was trying to flip are going to stay committed to where they were verbaled to play. Booker is gonna stay with Wisconsin and Neal with Nebraska. This class is gonna finish with a whimper, and not a bang.

This is the kind of stuff that really hurts the team. There is a big difference between the last 4-6 kids signing that are your fallbacks to your fallbacks to your fallbacks. Now instead of bringing in kids that could be special team players as RS Fr., now you have kids that might not contribute at all, or take 3-4 years to do so. That is why Iowa football is where it is, and why the 2 deeps look like they do.

We are stuck with KF for the time being so hopefully the new facilities and recruiting coordinator need to put a stop to this, or we will continue to be a 6 win team.

Neal was never going to happen. Even if he left nebby, he had an offer from the ducks.

Looks like the class of 2015 is all pieced together. I like how the coaching staff attacked the need to fill OL gaps early in the process, and they were able to get most of the guys they wanted for that position group. Hopefully Cook and Boyle push each other in QB competition. Although Cook might not stay at QB, he has the physical tools to help the team somewhere else. The rest of the class looks like a bunch of projects, but let's give them a few years to reevaluate. On to the 2016 class!
