Tracking 2015 Class Offers

Adonis Jennings - recently announced his transfer from Pitt and is now considering his transfer options with Iowa being mentioned........again. Been a victim of coaching changes a couple times now (Rutgers prior to Pitt). Same recruiting class as Weigers at Rutgers I believe until they announced coaching changes. Older article eluding to visit to Iowa in '13............

lol yes, but he has a 3.6 gpa. That's more important to Kirt anyway.

We should not be surprised as the signs have been there for a couple months that indicate we've been reaching deeper into the cookie jar. The Utes picking up another FL player should not be a surprise as they've been recruiting FL for speed and skill positions for many years according to their roster and they are adding to it again this recruiting season. They have more FL players on their current roster as well as more 2015 FL verbals than Iowa.

Last I heard Florida's distance presented a big challenge for our program when it comes to recruiting. Maybe our coach should be visiting the Utah staff instead of that in Green Bay?

It doesn't surprise me that we didn't get him. That doesn't mean that I wasn't HOPING that we would get him.

Wrong. Position coaches are absolutely key in recruiting players for their positions. You're pretty dumb if you don't think that's the case.

While I'm sure recruits meet and get to know their position coaches, that isn't actually how recruiting works. Position coaches recruit regions, not their specific positions. IE Chris White recruits the east coast I believe, so that means he is recruitins WR, RB, TE, DT, anyone from that region.

First contact is made by the regional coach, but anyone that thinks an East Coast OL is more concerned with Chris White than Brian Ferentz is a GIGANTIC idiot.

That may be, but when you're looking at recruiting websites the coach they list is the coach responsible for that region which is what we were talking about before you starting launching the insults.
