Tony Parker is a bad man

I sure hope your right. That was a heck of a game. Not many times do you get a do over when you give one away
I think the Spurs win tomorrow night. They have been the all around better team the entire finals. Plus Tim Duncan has exposed the Heats post play weakness against a true talented center. Timmy D and the boys will find a way to crush the Heat's dream of a repeat.

Anybody notice the action by the refs at the end of the game......

The game was given away in the last minutes.....

I can understand the refs wanting the Heat to make the finals, but the game should be called fairly in the finals.....

That's all I have to say about it.....

Thought the Spurs got the benefit of the doubt from the officials all night. Plus the Spurs got away with an illegal substitution during the review of Allen's three.

Agree 100%. But let's not forget it was Joey Crawford that helped Allen launch the three that tied the game. I thought it was poor performance by the officials last night that benefitted neither team. But I guess someone has to take the blame and it's not fair to put it on the missed free throws or poor decision making by the Spurs. But why not blame the refs. It also does wonders to add to the NBA is rigged mentality.

So honestly what would you have called differently? Not hating, but curious. As I stated earlier, I thought the officiating was inconsistent throughout the game and evened itself out. Not quite sure how it was given away... I thought Miami took advantage of the situation and did what needed to be done to stay in the game and eventually win it, where as San Antonio simply came up short.

No away team has won a game 7 in the finals since they went to the 2-3-2 format in 1985. But like LeBron said today in his press conference, history is made to be re-written.

Don't be "that guy" who blames it on the officials or some sort of conspiracy theory. The officials were horrendous all night long and both teams suffered at times because of it. They didn't call some obvious fouls, called fouls that weren't fouls, realized it, and then made make-up calls that weren't fouls. It was terrible. Which is becoming pretty symbolic in a Joey Crawford officiated game. He's the definition of a "diva" referee. When refs should do everything in their power to stay out of the limelight, Joey Crawford does what he can to stay in it.

However, if you're referring to missed calls at the end of the game deciding which team won I have a feeling you're being pretty biased. There was a no call when Dwayne Wade was practically tackled by Boris Diaw after he came up with a steal that ended up resulting in a 3 pt play by Tony Parker. Then Tim Duncan pushed Bosh to the ground which cleared the way for Ginobili to get an easy lay-up. It was a pretty obvious offensive foul that wasn't called. Not to mention multiple no calls in the 3rd quarter when James was mugged trying to get to the basket.

I'm not arguing that the Heat didn't get lucky on some calls too, but it went both ways last night. The Heat ended up being the team that overcame it. Mainly because of some offensive rebounds that led to second chance points in clutch moments. It was the first time in this series where the ball bounced their way at the end of the game.

I hate the Heat. I hate the Spurs. Want the Spurs to win. They are getting blown out tomorrow thou. Heat by 15 and it was a treat to see the 4th/ot called like a late 90's nba game. Let them play. Manu traveled and barely got fouled. Don't call that. Green got raped but you don't get the foul call when you throw an inbounds pass all the way across the court for a fade away three.

Also. I want the Spurs to win in the worst kind of way. I hate Lebron

Bosh flopped on that play. I could argue the rest but its minute. The refs were inconsistant as hell last night but thats the nba nowdays. I think it evened out. Go Spurs even thou they about to get waxed.

I would agree Bosh made it look worse than it was, but I still think he got shoved out of the way. Either way it's besides the point. The refs made bad calls on both sides.

I agree that Bosh sold the foul, but I don't think it was a flop. Like the announcers said the other night, the problem I have with the flopping issue is the fact that because Bosh is known as a flopper he doesn't get the whistle. If that is the case then there is no point in fining players for flopping, because they're being punished by not getting the calls in the future. Not saying that players should flop or are rewarded for flopping, but IMO if you're going to fine them fine them, but at the same time the referees need to remian consistent in the event a known flopper ends up on the ground. Not saying that was the case, but IMO Duncan fouled Bosh the other night and there's a good chance it was ignored because of Bosh's history of flopping.

I think the fining idea is weak and won't solve things in the long run. IMO if its an obvious flop, then charge the player for flopping and count it as a foul. Fining a player making multi-millions a season 5K per flop isn't the solution.

The refs have been very inconsistent in this series, but the most annoying one is Steve Javey (sp?). No matter how silly the call is, he has made up some crazy reason as to why it is the right one. According to him not a single bad call has been made. I understand protecting your own, but come on.

As for tonight's game, I think it would be a blow out if the Heat were playing any of 30 NBA teams as every other team would be dead inside after Tuesday. But not the Spurs. They will bounce back, and I expect the Heat's game 6 heroics to backfire on them as they feel the way most others do, that they are now entitled to the championship again.
Spurs win!

Must have been watching different games. I was personally watching the Spurs/Heat game six.....

That's all. Selective viewing always is faulty.....

Late in the game Green blocks LaBrons layup and Labron carries the ball out of bounds right in front of the referee and it is called Heat ball until the review. There was no doubt.....

Green goes in for a layup and is wrapped up by two Heat players in the last minute or so, literally wrapped arms around him and he is tossed out of bounds, Heat ball.....

Green is fouled and knocked off his feet in the last seconds on a three attempt, no call.....

Game to the Heat, the flop kings of basketball.....

Everyone is entitled to watch the game as he chooses, however some things are more than obvious.....

Agreed. During the review, I was saying to myself, "self, I wonder how the refs can try to keep this as Miami ball even after the replay."

What about the examples I gave? You didn't think Wade was fouled by Diaw? You didn't think Bosh was fouled by Duncan? Or what about the offensive foul they called on Lebron when all he was doing was posting up Tony Parker... a man half his size?

You don't comment on those examples because you're cheering for the Spurs. It's selective viewing. I'm just saying that games outcome was not dictated by the officials. Saying so only makes you look like a sore and bitter loser. If you're gonna blame a games outcome on the refs then it had better be obvious they were being one-sided. Usually the Heat do get calls that other teams don't get. I didn't think that was the case in Game 6. There were far to many instances the officials screwed the Heat over as well in that game.

Unfortunately, I think this series is over. The Spurs lost the championship by pizzing away a 5 point lead with less than a half minute to go. Yes, there were some strange calls down the stretch and these are exactly why I don't usually watch the NBA. Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised to see a blowout by the Heat tonight.

The three examples I mentioned occurred at the end of regulation and the OT when the game was on the line. I refuse to mention the flopping strategy employed as a tactic by the Heat. With all that talent, they resort to flopping. It is simply disgusting.....

Chalmers is a punk along with Battier and Bosh. Flopping is the nastiest thing in basketball. It is cheating and for a team with enormous talent to resort to it is criminal....

Enjoy the game tonight, bro.....

Lol so you refuse to even acknowledge them as fouls? Just because they weren't in the final seconds doesn't mean they don't effect the outcome. The two no calls I mentioned resulted in 5 Spurs points. That doesn't effect the game? Now I understand it's pointless discussing it with you. You're too biased to see things rationally.

As Jeff Van Gundy said on the telecast, the king of the flops is Ginobili. He has been a serial flopper his entire career (go to youtube and enter Manu and flop :) ). That's why it is funny when he complains about it. Battier and Bosh are also proven floppers, and even LeBron got a fine earlier. But, let's not pretend this is a one way street.
