Regardless of whether someone is a Fant fan or not (I very much am), I think it is a fair statement to make that if you’re an elite athlete you should make sure your peanut gallery family either shuts the F up on social media, or you disown them in public. Fant was reluctant to do the latter and I understand it. I guarantee if Kirkie thought Noah was a drama queen he told the scouts so.

His mouth-breathing brother likely cost him some spots in the draft and millions of dollars. Willie Jr. was obviously trying to rile up the Ferentzes into playing his brother more, getting him more highlights, and bumping his draft stock. It had the exact opposite effect. If I were Noah I’d tell that scumbag when he inevitably comes around wanting a car or some rent money, “Consider your payment from me to be the cash your bullshit drama cost me.” But that’s just me.

4th round draft picks have $700-800k signing bonuses they walk away with. That alone makes a 4th round contract worth leaving. Best case scenario a full scholarship is worth $100k a year when you add in every benefit. It’s very doubtful hooker and Nelson (Both of whom are favorites of mine) would have improved beyond a 4th round pick with another year. Especially Nelson.

I liked them both. Both made great plays for us. You can't choose your family. Really his brother was only expressing some frustration many other fans were also expressing.

Take the money. It is a paid for house and a tidy start to investments at least just starting out in life. Doesn't work out go into medical equipment /pharmaceutical sales like so many others have done.

Family is family, but not every family member is, or even has the right to be a douche bag to the detriment of another family member.

He might just be that unintelligent that he didn’t see what he was bringing down on his brother. In that case the guy’s a mental defective and Noah should have said publicly to ignore it because the guy has special needs.

We all know that isn’t the case. His brother was being a dick because he wanted attention, and he thought if he bitched enough publicly it’d somehow change the situation, which it didn’t. It had the opposite effect.
 
Well Denver paid a lot of money to have someone out there to just block and run routes. They scarcely throw the ball to him. I don't get it.

the NFL product has been especially bad this year. Think the factors are partially related to the photo above, mediocre QB play.

Injuries
Penalties -- I swear each game has around 30 flags thrown a Q. It's unbearable to watch.
