TJ and Noah at the draft

That's awfully high for a TE. I think TJ is a great player but TE is still a luxury position in the NFL.

As others have stated, having a TE who can do it all is an extremely valuable piece.

I’d be shocked if he is still available at 12. Fant will be but I don’t think Fant warrants that high of pick because he’s not as versatile as TJ.

I seriously LOL at anyone who thinks Iowa guys getting drafted into the NFL have any sort of grudge at the guys who got them there. They were the best TE tandem in school history. The best in the country this season. They are in this position because of their coaches. Noah holds the record for touchdown receptions by a TE in school history. He LOVES Kirk Ferentz and if he doesn't that sure isn't a Kirk Ferentz problem.

Its just one of those things that I'll believe it when I see it. Its not that I think he isn't worthy. He's clearly the most widely respected pass catcher in this draft.

But very few TEs get drafted that high. I think 3 have gone higher than #12 over the last 20 years. TJ is obviously a very good prospect and it does help that there are not any elite WR prospects in this draft.

As a fan of the Packers, have you given up on Graham? Or just pulling for the best Hawkeye to go to your favorite team?

I'm sure Fant wants KF there haha. The very coach that couldn't seem to get the best player on the team on the field and utilize his talent. Instead we're throwing the ball to Nico Ragaini late in the game against NW. Kirk and Brian, the only 2 coaches in the nation that squander the opportunity to fully utilize 2 first round drafts picks at tight end. Genius level shit.
Umm, if Fant is the best player, how come Hock is listed to be the first TE off the board by basically everyone?

Graham to me is like Fant. Great athlete but not versatile. He had 2 receiving TDs last year and is 8 years into his career so I have concern his best years are behind him.

The beauty of it is that regardless of where they go in the draft, both of them will likely have a great NFL career. They will probably make more $$$ than I did as a public school educator. Go figure.

I have this show on to hopefully catch Hock and Fant. Damn Taylor Swift is so hot....
Anyway, I think it's pretty pathetic the amount of gravitas these NFL fans are displaying. You'd think this is all they have in their lives or something.

Anyone find it odd that Fant didn’t show TJ any love upon being picked? At least from what I saw. Congrats to TJ. #GoHawks

Were their tables right next to each other? I think people are reaching for something that's not there.
