Rumor is that once Kirk is done at Iowa, the UofI is letting Ann Rhodes make the next head football coaching hireSo he doesn't make the coaching hires? If not, then that's precisely my point.

Donors and by extension of donors who love Kirk, Kirk does.So who does. Kirk?
I'm not almost fine with that it's a must. No idea how you can get that many OL men drafted and play at the highest level but they DON'T play at the highest level when they play at Iowa. We've seen great OL coaching Philbin when Kirk took the HC job and Hayden when he had Haight and those guys and when O'Hare was the OL coach until his passing. So, it can be done....it has been done and now more than ever Kirk needs to stop being a sick in the mud and do what's right for the program.I'd almost be fine with that. If we had a dominant offensive line like we have in the past it would mask a lot of BF's ineptitude.
Her answer will be to hire a womanRumor is that once Kirk is done at Iowa, the UofI is letting Ann Rhodes make the next head football coaching hire
Thank you for stating the obvious.Having Brian take over as soon as Kirk retires is 100% the plan. The only question remains is whether they can keep the program average enough for him to actually take it there. They want a couple of good years and then KF will walk away and Barta will sign off on it.
Have you been living under a rock the last 10 years? So who does. Kirk?
They had skill position players under Hayden and assistants. Under kirk, not so muchI'm not almost fine with that it's a must. Get a cluePhilbin was at the game Kirk should BEG him to come back and be the OL coach...I mean BEG him to.
Letting Polasek go would be a great way to say it's not Brian's fault.

Funny how Polasek OCs an NDSU that beat Iowa at Iowa and now everyone thinks he can’t coach.
JFC!! I need to stop checking this site right before bed. The debacle!! The horror!! The shitshow that was.Rumor is that once Kirk is done at Iowa, the UofI is letting Ann Rhodes make the next head football coaching hire

I have one oldhawk...you should ditch the Rip VanWinkle impersonation. We just set back CFB offenses like 100 years with the performances we are generating on offense.Get a clue

It would even be reasonable to hire him like KOK to come back and consult....maybe teach Polashek OL techniques etc. We have a middling floor with this OL how can we get them to achieve close to their ceiling?I guess he's unemployed currently. Stranger things have happened but I think he'd be more likely to be co-OC/OL, since he's a former NFL OC and head coach. They were showing how O'Keefe, KF and Philibin were all coaching at Worcester Academy in CT.
Yep, consulting is very possible (if it's allowed by the NCAA idk). I'm sure he could look at the game film every week and tell Polasek what to do in minimal hours. It would even be reasonable to hire him like KOK to come back and consult....maybe teach Polashek OL techniques etc. We have a middling floor with this OL how can we get them to achieve close to their ceiling?
