Make free throws. Getting to the line more than the opponent has been a critical element for Fran. They've accomplished that part of it. Making the free throws is the second part of it. One game is an aberration, two games you start scratching your head, three games it's a problem. Iowa is not at game three. If they lose at Wisconsin, I hope it's not because of free throw shooting. Then I'll be concerned.

Thanks lightning. Some people can't see the real argument being discussed. The performance last night (along with several of our other games this year and going back to last year) I think go beyond being off for x amount of time. I think we are seeing a pattern here. I hope not, but I think there are some real chinks in the armor. It does not mean we are not a good team, we are, but they have to clean up a number of things if they want to really contend for the Big Ten title and a higher seed in the Big Dance. And they need to do it quick.

As I have mentioned before, I don't like overreacting to one game. I think we are a good team, with huge potential. BUT, we really need to clean up the free throw shooting especially. If we hit 75% of our free throws, all basketball threads would be talking about how we did what we needed to do, pulled away and closed out. We have other areas of concern, but they are pretty typical for a lot of teams.

26th is a far cry from 9th but that isnt the stat I asked for, genius.

You're right, it wasn't. But A/FGM makes a lot more sense than A/Possession. You are so incompetent it's unreal.
