This is pretty unfair to his adoptive parents, IMO.
 
What's really ridiculous is that he goes from wanting to be a part of the university to bashing KF. I remember when he said he wanted to mend things with Kirk. He is just bitter, self absorbed,and obviously has many issues. It's just sad to think what could have been for him.

I think it's pretty obvious that he is clueless when one of his complaints is that Kirk told him he's not bigger than the team.

Just another Iowa football fan who can't differentiate between loving Iowa football and loving Curt Ferentz football. Maybe loving Curt more.... Are we the University of Curt Ferentz? <P> Say, were you a 'hater' of Iowa football 'cause you bashed on KOK? Hum?

My God man, everyone, I mean everyone on this thread is pretty much on the same page. It was harmony, DJK was inadvertently bringing everyone together in a thread of solidarity to unite to show there pride and love of the Hawks. You STILL bring this BS.

Did you note the 'affluenza' tweet that Vandevelde 'tweeted'. I'm sure the parents have a whole lot to do with the way he is acting. Spoiled because he was adopted, spoiled because he was an athlete, spoiled because he could be spoiled given their status, and spoiled for reasons that probably would be deemed politically incorrect, so I won't include them here.

Don't forget his average arm strength.. And the teams just flocked to Long afterwards.... <P> What I said before stands: You can't refute DJK's playing ability 'cause he didn't make it into the NFL any more than you can refute Chuck Long's playing ability 'cause he didn't make it in the NFL. Nor can you rationalize Curt has an acumen to judge NFL talent 'cause he talked the Chiefs into drafting Ricky Stanzi.

You may be correct. I just think it is assuming a lot unless you know. Its fine I just wouldnt post something like that unless I was pretty sure. Maybe you are. I have met his parents one time and they seemed terrific

I've never been won over by DJK's ability or his mouth. I'm just sayin' I'm not won over by Curt's coaching ability, either (you have). <P> BTW, what you posted, in logic, it's called a straw man argument - it's rhetorical, the opposite of logic. You make a false statement about someone else, then you refute it. Way to go.

Does everyone remember the late hit he took up in Minnesota and nobody came to his defense? I found it strange at the time, but now I can see why nobody came to his defense. What a tool.

pretty much everything on a message board should be deemed as conjecture, no? vandevelde's tweet probably has some substance to it. but yeah, take everything with a grain of salt and put your conclusions together with the information you can patch together. ulatimately no one knows the answers - probably not even djk himself.

I can refute DJK's NFL talent with my own eyeballs. He just didn't have it. Again, not trying to be a jerk, but that is my honest assessment.
 
Is HomerChampless arguing DJK did have NFL talent? If so, he's the first person I've ever seen actually take that stance other than DJK himself (which honestly wouldn't surprise me). Several of us are still waiting for Homer to come up with a poster who doesn't think he's clueless by the way... He just conveniently stopped responding in that thread. Coincidence? I think not.

I don't understand why people keep arguing this point. IF DJK HAD NFL TALENT HE WOULD BE IN THE LEAGUE. It's that simple. One man and a bad rep aren't enough to keep someone out of the NFL. He didn't have what it took to be in the damn CFL or AFL. Can we just lay this argument to rest?

DJK is delusional. He's as delusional as it gets. He's stuck inside his own head. He can't see things from anyone else's point of view. I would love to see him interviewed by someone who has real legitimate inside information, and wasn't afraid to use it. It would be hilarious. It would be like watching Sarah Palin get interviewed by Katie Couric. A complete and total trainwreck. He would bury himself.
