The predicament has some great stuff up on the website to check out before the tournament starts. I'll try to give some highlights and stuff in this thread when I get a chance. The wrestling kicks off with 2A tomorrow afternoon!
 
Some interesting results from 2A earlier today.

3A just kicked off at 6:30 and there was a big match right off the bat.

I thought the news said Wolf was behind 7-2 at one point and came back and won over Blocker

Weatherman has a name, but he is not a 'big name' wrestler. No offense to him, but the kid was not even a top 10 guy.

Neither was/is St John.

I hope Denver-Tripoli knocks Ballard off the stand and takes the team title.
 
I should have been a little more clear about what I meant by big names. Dillon is definitely not a great wrestler. Hunter is pretty talented but is wrestling at a pretty high weight right now and that is the main reason he left ICW.

That weight class looks very interesting with 3 undefeated wrestlers through the first round. I hope they meet each other before it's over.

I watched this match...Ballweg was not what I would call impressive, but I dont know anything about his opponent...there were several matches where heavy favorites were frustrated with their opponents basically just getting flat and trying to not get pinned..
 
Did Iowa City High only qualify one wrestler? Wow...is West High getting all the stud wrestlers or has City High really dropped off the map in HS wrestling?
