State tournament thread

Thank you very much for posting that video! I'm surprised with how off balanced Knight got when he tried that trip and it cost him against a very good wrestler.

I won't be able to give any updates from the tourney today but hopefully someone will keep it going.

If he does come out and wrestles 100% in the next round one would have to wonder if he really was hurt enough to end the match Koethe or not...

Is there any coverage of the semi's via tv? Or streaming? Just curious, I have a couple guys I would like to watch wrestle.
 
Sort of off topic, but I heard a great 'feel good' story from Class 1A.

West Branch.

Sent four wrestlers to State for the first time in school history. They have never had more than two guys medal.

All four guys will be on the stand tomorrow night.

Two are still alive to win it all. And, the team is going to finish top 10 for the first time in school history.

You would think a great football school like WB might have a better wrestling program.

But, hey, what they are doing is just another great story from the best sports event in all of HS athletics.
