Stanzi: Big 10 Offensive Player of the Week...

I find it ironic as I don't think he played very well. His stat sheet looks good for sure but his passes were a little off target and he really should have checked out of a couple of plays.

I think Stanzi played a solid game on the field, and a mostly really good game between the ears. Yeah, the running out of bounds behind the LOS wasn't great, but he threw the ball away, he didn't force it and made some good audibles.

Yes. It really sucks when you have three on a team that could qualify for player of the week or game. Robinson did a lot of grinding runs & that long run on 3rd down was crucial. He was a workhorse & is carrying quite a load with 35 + touches. Robinson also holds onto the ball which is key for a young player. Can't overlook that. Stanzi played well & didn't force. No turnovers between the two of them.

DJK seems quite focussed & running great routes as well as blocking. DJK is also getting 30+ yrds on a return which is really helping the field position battle so key to Iowa's style.

Stanzi wasnt as accurate as hes been most the year. The TD to DJK on the short crossing route was behind DJK, he made a nice catch. the big screen pass was also a poor throw, picked up right off the grass.

its great he can be off a tad and still have a big day!

All three deserved it and this probably should be a shared award this week. But I know the conference doesn't do that. Congrats to Ricky and to the entire Iowa offense.

Right team, wrong player.

Robinson accounted for just over 200 yards. Stanzi accounted for over 250. Robinson averaged 4.6 ypc. Stanzi averaged 14.5 yards per completion on 70% passing!

My God people! Seriously, some of his passes were not perfectly on target?!

He is third in the nation in passing efficiency, after this apparently sub-par game!

Do yourselves a favor and just shut up!

Perhaps the bigten wants to begin to make a push for stanzi being the premier quaterback in the league now that pryor and d-rob have stumbled?

Um, he is third in the nation in passing efficiency. Hitting at about 70% per clip. Has the lowest amount of interceptions of any of the top B-10 QB's.

The Big Ten doesn't need to make the push. Stanzi has already solidified himself in that spot.

Now, if you want to argue who is the top running back that also throws we can have another conversation.

It's amazing. Stanzi completes over seventy percent of his passes, averages over ten yards per attempt and throws three touchdowns with no interceptions. His numbers were above his season numbers going into the game. His quarterback rating was 198.9. Yet, people criticize the kid. It just boggles my mind.

That is what I have been saying. These guys should get a limited time ban based on the pure stupidity of their posts.

yes, anyone who has a different opinion than you is stupid.

nobody bagged on Stanzi other than to say they thought ARob may have deserved the award more.
