St Johns at Virginia on right now on ESPN......

Is it just me or is St. Johns getting a bunch of ticky-tac fouls called on them. Also Virginia shouldn't of been able to shoot free throws on that pass that was called as a shot.

Gene Keady on St. John's bench as a special assistant, would have been cool to see him back on the sidelines at Carver, but doesn't look like that's gonna happen.

Obekpa reminds me of a more polished Olaseni. I think he has more of an edge than Olaseni though.

Also, virginny is 19-1 at home this year. They must be an atrocious road team. Too bad their a 1 seed.

I'd prefer the home game. Go Johnny's.

St. John's might be the dumbest team in America. they recruit thugs. U r seeing the result.

I don't see any way that Virginia can lose this game. St. John's is a very undisciplined team and I seriously doubt that Lavin can get them organized enough to make a viable run. Sounds like a decent crowd at Charlottesville. Probably be even better in prime time. Going to be a tough contest for the Hawks.

If we have to go there, I hope Fran uses the to's to an advantage. Seems like, they like to get on runs and the crowd feeds off it pretty well, thus feeding the run.

I don't necessarily agree with the notion that a road game this year will lead to more confidence next year. I think the addition of the incoming players, and the return of the talent we have will lead to a stronger year next year… Regardless of an away game at Virginia.

I do think going to MSG and possibly winning the NIT will do more for building confidence for next year. Therefore a home game vs St. Johns would be better.

All in all, it's all a moot point with the way virginny is playing right now.

Not looking good for another home game but.....

the hawks winning at UVa would be an exclamation point of sorts.

It will not be easy, but I believe the Hawks are ready for it......

Of course, life on the road in college basketball is treacherous......

Would anybody else like to see just how does Shaq get in or out of that Buick? Got damn! His knees are are steering the car!
