So, anybody know how healthy it really is?
STL paper is reporting today that the Mizzou athletic department is $15 million in the red on $180 million gross revenue.
This, of course, prior to pending revenue sharing with athletes. Covering with an internal loan from the university.
Is this normal? Is this common? Or is Mizzou just really that Mizzou-y? Or are we going to see a similar article about Iowa? I assume unless Mizzou really is that Mizzou-y they won't be the only one. But anybody know how common this is gonna be?
edit: red, not black....
I've had a particularly frazzled day.
