Site redirection

In the last week I have been on HN and I am directed to a game on iTunes. This is the final link/URL. I can't seem to capture the others fast enough.

My only choice is to delete cookies and log back in. This is on my phone using the full site. I don't click on any ads. It just starts loading and takes me to iTunes.

I have been having the same problem, it makes the site nearly unusable from my phone.

It really does, latrans. You can get hijacked even when you are just reading a thread and it does it over and over. At first you think you fat-thumbed something but it's always the same result.

Same thing happened to me over the weekend. I just got a new phone, so I thought it was just me. It kept taking me to some king.com website to purchase games. I couldn't even get on HN with my phone on Saturday without it happening within a few seconds. Seems to be working fine today though.

Will say it again. You have a hijacker on your computer. You need to clean it up and start putting a block for certain sites on your router if you have one. Your router probably has 2 levels of protection.

Use super anti spyware and malware bytes. With any downloaded free product ALWAY pay attention to what you are agreeing to and NEVER agree to an additional tool such as a free tool bar or a shopper. This has nothing to do with this site. It has to do with where you have been. The major culprits are free downloads (watch what you are agreeing to) and porn sites. The european place for streaming is also ripe with links. Set up the blocks and be careful what you go to.

If you don't have a router you can also set up windows to block things. Also there are decent free protection tools such as: K9 Web Protection - Free Internet Filter and Parental Control Software | Free Internet Filtering and Parental Controls Software

If you don't get rid of the virus type things you have it will only get worse.

Well, IlHawk....people are having this issue on their phones or iPads. I never had it on my PC. Only my phone. The only thing to cure it for a short time was to clear your history and cookies....on your phone browser....which in my case, was safari.
