CBC's Parker makes late switch, chooses Iowa over Tulsa

From article:

“When we met with Coach (Kirk) Ferentz and Coach (Eric) Johnson, they came down and they were talking about moving him around quite a bit, playing some slot, playing running back, try to move him around to use his speed,” CBC coach Scott Pingel said. “His role is undefined right now with Iowa, but it’s going to be kind of as an athlete.”

So says head ****** Bag of Hawkeye Nation.

I love it when angry people who are using little to no logic in an argument resort to name calling.

If you are so angry about the state of the program and you clearly dislike KF, why even come here and talk Hawks?

What's with all the Josey Jewell hate?

He looks like he knows how to tackle. If the guy can execute that skill on an average basis next fall, he'll be part of a very select group on this team.

There are on average about 300 kids annually in Dallas and 400 in Houston who "can tackle". Tanner Miller, Adam Shada and Greg Castillo could probably tackle well in high school. Trouble is ole' Josey ain't playing Marshalltown in the fall in Ann Arbor.

Everyone loves to watch a train wreck.

Define Delusional: (your definition) Having below a .500 winning percentage to Iowa St and jNW under this regime and thinking Kirk is a water walker. Combining for more losses when favored by 10 or more than the rest of the conference combined over the last 8 years and thinking it is all execution. Expecting a coach to identify and teach fundamentals like clock management, recognizing fakes and trick plays.

So Iowa is involved in setting the line on games now? How big of a cut do they get from Vegas or the bookies?

There is a very small number of people who actually believe this, but they are confused with someone else.

No one is happy with where Iowa is at right now, but coming on here and just blowing up and exaggerating recruiting issues isn't doing anyone any good, especially your blood pressure.

I am not saying you can express your opinion about the program and Ferentz but if it makes you so dang unhappy, why bother?

Here is to you "Malaprop." (look it up) You, sir or madam, are a waste of food. And, so Scorpio and a couple of others will have company, and it will reduce the time I would waste going through a thread, I am going to put you on my ignore list. Bye.

Your logic is because he played against Marshalltown he won't be good? I like what I saw from the very few plays I have seen. I don't see any reason to bash the kid for absolutely no reason at all. It's called player development, this kid can be developed for sure.

Everyone loves to watch a train wreck.

People who love to watch train wrecks don't care about the outcome, you clearly do care that is why you say the things you do. Be passionate but try not to overreact.

I am not happy that Iowa was a combined 11-25 the past two years but still Indiana gets one recruit to flip and you think Iowa can't out recruit them. You do realize that player's dad was higher onto the staff. Eventually he was going to leave. Indiana didn't out recruit Iowa for David Kenney Jr., they hired his dad. Give his dad wouldn't be coaching him but he would around a lot more if he choose Indiana instead of Iowa. I would have liked him to switch back after his Dad left for another job but by then he already formed new relationships with his future teammates at Indiana.

I just used Marshalltown for my snarkyness, I actually had no idea he played against Marshalltown. Look, I hope the guy is the next resident bad ***. I love beating OSU 1 time every 2 decades and Michigan (albeit the worst Michigan has been in 3 decades) every so often with lesser guys. I just don't want to see this guy start over someone with more talent like Kirk did with Shada playing over Brad Fletcher because Shada was willing to carry Mrs. F's groceries inside the house.

Kenney's Pappy left after he got that job? I didn't even know that... He will love playing before that half full stadium "The Quarry"

Willies looks good, but the Western Big 6 conference in Illinois is hot garbage; I know I went to HS in it. He busted one against my alma mater UT (United Township HS) around the 2 minute mark, but UT has been and is awful, I mean real awful. My Dad is a Rotarian in East Moline and met the team one day at lunch, some kid sat next to him. My Dad asks him if he plays safety or linebacker, kid answers "guard". 5-8 170. They should just drop a few daisy cutter bombs on my hometown, so sad.

So are you East Moline trash, or Silvis trash? This is very important for how I plan to proceed in the future.
