Shimonek leads team to state title game.

Wow. Ty Slanina with a crazy TD. He handed the ball off, but it was fumbled. Slanina tried to pick it up once, but it started to roll away, he picked it up again, outraced one player, and then dragged another into the end zone. He's a very impressive athlete, and his team is up 56-14 in the 4th quarter.

Shimonek with another nice deep ball, but his WR gets hammered drawing a PI flag. He has a really strong arm. If/when he gets his mechanics down, he'll be able to make pretty much any throw at the college level. Now, IDK about his accuracy, but the power is there.

I watched the game, think the kid has potential. Mildred just didn't have an answer on D and their OL was getting killed all night. That said I thought he looked pretty good all things considered.

Kind of reminds me a little of Tate with his scrambling and always looking downfield to try and make a play.

And NO I am not saying he is or will be as good as Tate just kind of got that vibe from watching the game.

I liked what I saw from Nic's basics...arm strength, mobility, size, accuracy. He has a chance to be a good one.

how did their running back look as he went into the game needed just 86 yards to go over 2000 on the season rushing and he is just a JR.

this is in the spring write ups on in the Corsicana new paper, also he was rated the 3rd best QB of the 15 QB's invited to a camp held at Oklahoma
