Your assertion that you are "better" is pure fantasy. NObody is "better" by mere affiliation. Now, if they were donating to a Sandusky appeal fund, I could agree. But neither you nor I know that to be the case. IF you were right, would that mean I should have stopped supporting Iowa basketball over the Pierce situation? I know, I know, two different scenarios, but the principle is the same. Iowa coaches/staff "negotiated" a way out of that situation.

As to banning? I know of at least one poster who has gotten past that "roadblock".

Bob, I'm morally superior to anyone who supports the psu football program in light of the sanderpsky-related findings of malfeasance. This is irrefutable fact.

So, since I know that big 10 network dollars go to PSU does that mean watching it indicates I support sandusky? Do not want to knowingly support PSU football!!

No. It's a mouth-breathing sophomoric analogy, and one that anyone with a modicum of intelligence would immediately dismiss. Frankly if you cant tell the difference between what happened at Iowa regarding the Everson rape case and at PSU regarding Sandusky and friends then I'm not sure why I'm even wasting my breath.

It's also moronic to think that people have the right to do with their money as they chose and society has no right to judge them. Should society not be able to to look down on someone who donates money to NAMBLA which as present is difficult to distinguish from the PSU athletic department. (Truth be told I'm actually starting to think you might be a member of NAMBLA with the ferver in which you are defending PSU and their athletic department donors). If I were to take my money, fly to Thailand and use it to secure the sexual services of under age boys and girls does society not have the right to bite it's thumb?

Lastly I stake the moral high ground on the basis that I've never financially contributed to an organization whose leadership enabled a child predator to use their facilities and the prestige the organization bestowed upon him to systematically and repeatedly assault underage boys and then cover up his actions after the fact. It's similar to how I take the moral high ground over those people who have donated money to the KKK, were members of the Nazi Party, or contributed financially to the Taliban.

Again, what people do with their OWN money is their OWN business. If it becomes an illegal act, it should be dealt with. But an alum continuing to donate to PSU is hardly "illegal". YOU may find it morally repugnant. I don't necessarily disagree, and I may very well discontinue supporting U of I if a similar even occurred. But that's ME. What YOU or anyone else does is NOT my business, nor do I have the right to infringe upon others.

As to the NAMBLA crap, watch your-f-ing tone. What happened at PSU is not a "joke", and throwing accusations because someone doesn't agree with you is disgusting.
