I don't understand what the "diluted sample" entails so much. But if your failing those tests due to actually doing drugs for the month or so leading up to the combine while you should be eating right working your *** off to get in the best shape possible then your just an idiot... The kids talent would have to so outweigh their being an idiot to make me want them on the team. Happens every year pretty much..

A diluted urine drug test is one where the sample was diluted. It happens in two ways--you drank too much water to make yourself pee (DOT's standard says drink no more than 40 ounces of water), or you put water in your sample after you peed it out.

A negative diluted test says "no drugs in this sample passed the test thresholds, but it was diluted so there MIGHT be drugs in here." Basically, a diluted negative is a test failure.

Thanks. That's interesting. I wonder how long it takes them to get the results. They must not find out right then and there. If they did they should just wait till they have to go again.... .

It's pretty sad when guys can't stay clean in the few months leading up to the biggest job interview of their life. Just pathetic in my opinion. Quit smoking reefer for just a few months, ya pothead!

Why? It's not like he was All-American material, and considering the baggage he brought, no thanks. We had just as good, if not better O-linemen in his place anyway, and did just fine.

I would argue the most common way a diluted test happens is because the player used a masking agent because they are trying to hide something. Which means they intentionally tried to dilute the sample. There's many products out there that do this. I was in the Army and I had soldiers underneath me try different ways to beat a drug test. The dilution method used to work until they started failing tests that were too watered down.

Basically a positive test has to be over what they call the "threshold limit". For marijuana the drug they are testing for is THC. So lets say 20 units of THC is the threshold. Someone who has been a heavy user of marijuana would normally be way above that. However, if they take a masking agent (can be bought at a GNC type store) or drink a ton of water the day of their test they can dilute the sample to the point that the THC in their urine temporarily registers below the threshold. Hence they pass the test. Now that they are considering diluted tests as a failure they can no longer use that method.

You're probably the only person I've heard say this. Let morons like this play for someone else. It's not like he had a great career at Miami. He was a slightly above average lineman. With his tools that's a travesty.

Or pure laziness. He's a prime example of the stupid Nike shirt that I've seen before that reads, "lazy, but talented". Who in the hell would proudly display that!? If you are, don't freaking put it on display.

Big difference--one would hope--between a "visit" and "drafting"!

I think, given his size and apparent ability, that any team with a need on OL would at least take a look.

In this case, I would bet it ain't a LONG look :)
 






He will probably end up in New England...Belichick loves that kind of stuff....especially when he drops down to the 6th round or some crazy sh*t like that.....
 


He is already more successful and richer than all the people posting in this thread about his drug test.
